Already looking forward to going back!
"My family just returned from a wonderful stay at the Beachcomber and are already looking forward to going back.
First of all, the house and property were beautiful. There was plenty of room for my 3 generation family to spread out and relax as well as be together. My daughter loved the beautiful back yard to play hide and seek, while my parents enjoyed the beautiful views from the spacious deck. The house is clean and well maintained.
The most important attraction is being mere steps from Long Beach, a real treat with its beautiful sand and sparkling waters. Sunset walks, collecting shells , and splashing in the beautiful water were all a wonderful way to pass the time.
The house is within minutes of great shopping to both downtown Gloucester and Rockport.
Laura was a pleasure to work with, and my family is already counting the days to our return!"

"We just completed our 3rd stay at Rocky Neck Retreat. It is a wonderful top floor apartment with an outstanding, huge deck overlooking the waters of the back bay. We spent lots of time enjoying the deck at all times of the day, often eating our meals out there. Half of the deck is covered, and half open. Brian and Karen, the owners, are very attentive to whatever you need, but also give you your privacy. There was a constant breeze thru the apartment and each room has its own ceiling fan. Even in the hottest part of the summer, we truly enjoyed the wonderful breezes and fresh cool air. We give this experience our highest scores, and we will be back for a 4th time before too long."

GREATEST place to stay in GOOD Harbor Gloucester MA
"Plenty of room (4000sqft!), plenty of rooms (I lost count, but there are 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, multiple dining areas, multiple sitting areas, multiple washer/dryers, a room to play board/card games/do puzzles and a game room with pool/ping pong/air hockey!, closets galore.). Short walk/very short drive to Good Harbor Beach and great views from the house! GHB is a great beach, Wingaersheek is also nearby if you want to mix it up. The house has a huge collection of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. in case you didn't bring enough for everyone! Minutes away from everything in Gloucester and the surrounding towns (Rockport, Essex, etc.) We ate breakfasts in house - both kitchens are well equipped, upstairs has a great view. We had lunch take out from Virgillios and Sugar Magnolias, both excellent. Dinners at Topside and Lat 43°, both excellent. Also a huge fan of Woodmans over in Essex for Lobsters and Clams. Mark and Sarah are the owners - they will set you up, provide recommendations, and see you on your way out! Thank you, J/E/N/M/S/&J"

"However, we are from SW MO, so this was better than home! the seaside cottage feel of the walkout basement apt., made me forget We were actually sharing the house with the owners Stan, Sandy, and Katie! Our days were full driving around Cape Ann taking in Breakfast in downtown Gloucester at Sweet Magnolia's with pineapple fritters, clam chowder in Rockport, and up to dinner a short drive north to Portsmouth NH, down to eating tasty crab cakes at the Woods at the wharf in historic Plymouth. All info provided in our apt booklets provided by our hosts! as well as a bottle of wine, bottled water, Sodas, coffee, teas and the feeling they thought of everything and all first class! Daily newspapers greeted us at the door overlooking the private seating areas and protected cozy Lane's Cove. The furnishings were delightful, color and comfort. The place looks like a professional decorated it with great taste and love for the arts! We hated to leave, but 3 nights were all we had time for as we continued west to look at the fall color. Will definitely want to return!"
