  • A place for relaxing

"The owners were excellent to work with. The cottage was as described. It is quaint and vintage. A wonderful relaxing place. The ocean views are spectacular. The kitchen is well supplied. The area is filled with great little shops, restaurants, and other interesting activities. I hope to revisit the cottage soon."

  • Recommended for seriously unwinding!

"My husband and I stayed here for a week in August, and couldn't have enjoyed it more. It was clean, decorated in a playful way, and quiet. We slept in every day later than usual because the cottage is on a cul de sac, and there's no traffic, the quiet was lovely. Bicycles are provided, but we brought our own and found that was a great way to get around. There's a great restaurant within walking/biking distance, the Plum Island Grille, we went to Bob's Lobsters for fresh oysters, and to Mad Martha's for breakfast. It's possible to bike into Newburyport for lunch or shopping as well. The roof deck is a great place to watch the sky at dusk and see the stars come out. The owners are wonderful "virtual" hosts, and provide plenty of information and options for your stay. We particularly loved biking to Sandy Point beach for the day. A charming cottage in every way, and was definitely, for us, a romantic getaway."

  • A wonderful two weeks on Plum Island

"We just finished staying two weeks at this lovely home. The home was in pristine condition and the owner seemed to think of everything in this well appointed home with ample sleeping and three full bathrooms. The kitchen was very well appointed with excellent appliances and, as a result, we cooked many of our meals. This was ideal for our multigenerational family. The two living areas, one upstairs and the other down allowed different activities to meet the various needs. The proximity of the beach and restaurants along with a Newburyport so close by, was a great benefit. Our family hopes to return."

  • comfortable, roomy, great views

"comfortable and roomy - a little hard to find the first time but then okay-great view of the harbor and easy access to local restaurants and shops and the waterfront in your car. Hosts are very friendly. The fact that it has 2 bathrooms makes it easy to get ready to go out touring. Easy drive to other areas of Cape Ann. Well stocked kitchen"
