Great Newburyport location
"Great location right outside of downtown....we ended up with cold and rainy weather for much of the week, but the wifi and tv kept the kids busy and mom and dad got to take some nice scenic runs on the few sunny days down to the beach at plum island. Owner was very responsive to any inquiries and the large number of bedrooms helped keep the kids separate which always nice after a long car ride :). Basketball hoop and skateboards were an added bonus and the kids really liked the longboard. I would recommend for another stay, especially in the warmer months, though it was a great stop for us and convenient for a home base for us seeing relatives in the area of Danvers and Exeter."

"Lisa, our hostess was the most thoughtful and kind person. She provided a Christmas tree and ornaments and we all enjoyed decorating the tree. We were an extended family in Newburyport for the Christmas Holidays and the home was perfect for our 6 adults and 4 children (ages 2 through 11), and for a number of meals we had an additional 3 people. Everyone was comfortably situated in the lovely bedrooms, and the dining room was perfect. The children appreciated all the board games and TV's and having their own table for some meals. The home is convenient to downtown Newburyport, a charming village, even on foot. There was also good hiking suitable for adults and kids in a large local woods, and a rock climbing gym nearby. Winter made it impossible to go the the beaches nearby and enjoy the water sports and activities in Newburyport; we'd love to come back in summer. A relatively short drive enabled some of us to visit the Louisa May Alcott House. We had a wonderful family gathering in a lovely home!"

"Loved the modern yet old fashioned feel to the house. It was very a convenient and fun area with lots of places within walking distance for shopping and eating. So much room for lots of people! We were just as happy to stay in and socialize in such a beautiful setting as we were to explore the area. Monica was quick to respond and easy to make arrangements with. Would definitely make a return trip... which could even become an annual thing!"

"My husband and I spent a month in this charming house. Well-appointed kitchen with high end appliances, private back patio and upper deck with great views of the estuary and Plum Island and a spacious living room were much appreciated. THe sloping plank floors on the second level remind you that this house has a few centuries under its belt. Loved the location…everything is within walking distance."
