"We stayed at this BEAUTIFUL historic home for a lovely weekend in November! The house is such a wonderful place and it is within walking distance of everything that is Salem! You are not going to find a better rental in the area especially for the price! I can't wait until our next stay at the house! The owner Cole was SO helpful with everything including instructions on the house as well as things to do in the area! I am SO glad we chose this destination! Top ratings in our book! :)"

"We stayed here for a girls college reunion weekend. The house was a good size to accomadate our group. Plenty of room in the refrigerator, etc. It was clean and comfortable, very relaxing. There is a large dining room where we sat around having brunch and a large living room where we relaxed in the evening. It is located in a quiet neighborhood of old, well kept homes. We took advantage of the neighborhood yard sale that happened to be going on that weekend. It is close to town, though some of us still drove into town to visit old and new sites. It was perfect for our group."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Salem for the Easter holiday. The apartment is situated in a great location and we were able to walk to all of the Salem attractions. Arthur is a very accommodating host - we arrived late on Thursday and were very gratified to see the lights were on and there were some groceries in the refrigerator so we did not have to worry about running out for breakfast early the next morning. The apartment is very clean and has all of the amenities anyone needs - great architectural charm such as hard wood floors, high baseboards and nice molding, but with modern amenities like a flat screen tv, coffee maker, stocked kitchen, and a dishwasher. We highly recommend this apartment - the central location saves a ton of wasted time having to drive around and it is so much roomier than staying in a hotel. Thank you Arthur for a great spring break!"

"I'm 26 I stayed here for all of November and honestly couldn't imagine a better place to stay at in Salem. It's location is absolutely perfect. You're right across from a wonderful attraction/museum, at the end of the street is a Dunkin Donuts for a quick coffee, and an adorable organic grocery store Milk and Honey. The train station is a short walk away and the Square area where all the very best shops are along with museums and other tourist attractions is about a 5min walk away, complete with a cobblestone street. You can't get better location wise. Boston and Hyannis Port, Cape Cod were also places I easily visited from here. The house itself is completely adorable! So much natural light I was beyond thrilled. Clean, comfy bed and couch, lovely kitchen which I made good use of, charming deck from the bedroom, very nice to sit out on, complete with funny friendly squirrels lol. The stairs are a bit steep so if you have a bad back or asthma remember to take it slow. I would suggest not bringing a car as its insanity lol, also being where it is you really don't need one, I just used Uber to do one major grocery run. Otherwise everything from dining to attractions to walgreens is all within walking distance. Everyone there is incredibly nice and friendly, and very helpful with typical tourist questions. I visited every shop and every attraction there. I strongly recommend Count Orlock's Nightmare Gallery, if you're a horror movie fan, it was amazing..and creepy. The owner is very nice and willing to help with any questions. When I visit again, and I will because I love Salem, this is the only place I will stay. :)"
