  • Great Fun

"I've stayed at Days Serene now for a number of summers. It's a great spot for family fun. The house is set up well for one or two families and we've enjoyed ourselves immensely each time we've gone. Dick is a super guy to deal with and is very attentive to your needs. It's actually one of my families favorite vacation spots, can't wait to get back there."

  • Just what we needed!

"We just spent a rest filled weekend at this lovely home. Two busy Mom's took time out to refill our cups. We walked on the beach, napped in the most comfy beds with lovely linens and found fabulous places to dine with out having to leave Plum Island. When we did leave the Island there were endless things to do in Newburyport. Many shops to poke through and more great restaurants. This home is very clean and has everything you could need for a beach vacation."

  • Truly a home away from home

"However, we are from SW MO, so this was better than home! the seaside cottage feel of the walkout basement apt., made me forget We were actually sharing the house with the owners Stan, Sandy, and Katie! Our days were full driving around Cape Ann taking in Breakfast in downtown Gloucester at Sweet Magnolia's with pineapple fritters, clam chowder in Rockport, and up to dinner a short drive north to Portsmouth NH, down to eating tasty crab cakes at the Woods at the wharf in historic Plymouth. All info provided in our apt booklets provided by our hosts! as well as a bottle of wine, bottled water, Sodas, coffee, teas and the feeling they thought of everything and all first class! Daily newspapers greeted us at the door overlooking the private seating areas and protected cozy Lane's Cove. The furnishings were delightful, color and comfort. The place looks like a professional decorated it with great taste and love for the arts! We hated to leave, but 3 nights were all we had time for as we continued west to look at the fall color. Will definitely want to return!"

  • Historic Home

"We chose this house as our home away from home for our son's wedding. It was perfect. It expanded to fit our family. We felt like we were part of the community. The kids loved trick or treating in Newburyport. I think it is the place to be for Halloween."
