  • Very Accommodating

"We contacted Monica on Wednesday, with a very last minute need for our family to be in Newburyport. She could not have been more accommodating or easier to work with. When we arrived on Thursday the home was beautifully maintained, and was prettier than the pictures. There was a very comfortable, welcoming feel. The weather was cold, but the inside was warm. It is easy for us to recommend this home to anyone thinking of visiting the beautiful town of Newburyport. Thank you to Monica and Sean for making this so easy and enjoyable for our family."

  • The beach and the ocean are the yard!

"This was our second year staying here. The location is wonderful and the beach is clean and sandy. There is a large, comfortable deck with a well-kept grill and the entire deck overlooks the beach and the ocean. The units are very clean and comfortable and the owner goes to exceptional lengths to ensure guests comfort. The layout of the house is great, with a large, well-equiped, clean (the appliances are new/newer) kitchen, with a sliding glass door opening to the deck. The bedrooms are very comfortable and clean and there's a full bath with a tub and shower. This section of the beach is not congested and very family friendly. Although there are two units, one upstairs (where we stayed), and one downstairs, we never felt like we were sharing a house. There is a rare feeling of privacy which is hard to come by. At night, there are fireworks on the beach and you can see the firework disiplays in Hampton Beach which is only a five minute drive. Oh, yes, although we don't fish, many days folks were pulling in very large fish just by fishing from the shore. We have been looking for the perfect vacation spot for years and we have found it. We are planning on staying two weeks next year."

  • Lovely place!

We went for a week in July 2014 and spent a wonderful time in Newbury and around. The apartment in the basement offers anything you need or could need, e.g. a charming collection of films on VHS. :-) You can see that a lot of love for detail went into the furnishing. The bathroom is very big and a washing machine and a dryer are available there, too. The beautiful and quiet garden offers plenty of seating and you may even use the little pool or the BBQ. Michael and Cindy are very nice and incredibly helpful landlords and can offer great tips (Go to Stephanie's Village Pancake House in Rowley for breakfast!). Don’t be afraid to ask them. It’s only 5 minutes to Newburyport (for any shopping) and 1 minute to Tender Crop Farm (for fresh produce). Just one suggestion if you are a light sleeper: You might want to use earplugs, since you can hear some noise from upstairs. Thank you, Michael and Cindy, for everything!"

  • Great location!

"This was the 1st time we have rented using VRBO and it was a positive experience. We just returned from 4 glorious days at this beach house. There was plenty of room for all of us; mom, dad, 2 middle school boys, and Nana. The house was clean when we arrived, we paid for linens and bath towels which worked out great, kitchen is well equipped, beds were comfy, gas grill, lots of windows for the ocean breeze. Eric, the property manager, is very nice, was attentive to our few needs, and gave us some tourist suggestions. Email communication and reservation process with the owner went very smoothly. Would definitely rent this property again!"
