  • Two thumbs up!!!

"Location, location, location. What a way to experience Marblehead for the month of June. Home was historically cozy/charming, yet spacious; the yard was a treat to enjoy (my son and dog loved the space); just a hop, skip and jump to shops, restaurants, harbor, Crocker Park, grocery store. Eating in the dining room feels like you are in the Captain's quarters on an old ship - very fun with takeout steamed lobster from Marblehead Lobster Company. Neighbors were incredible, too - very friendly and helpful! Eileen and Kelly (owner and property manager) are the best to work flexible and accomodating! My toddler accidentally broke a window pane, and Kelly fixed it promptly! Beds and linens were very comfortable! As a former flight attendant who has traveled all over the world, I am impressed with this wonderfully historic property!"

  • Charming apartment

"This is a charming apartment with some nice period features. It was very clean, and the views were lovely. There is a local shop selling delicious muffins and The Rudder restaurant was nearby and excellent. Cape Ann has pretty towns and a dramatic coastline and we had some good meals, sometimes with live music in Gloucester itself. We didn't rent a car but it would be a good idea if you don't like walking as it is a good half hour's walk into the centre of Gloucester. However the Cape Ann bus drivers were friendly and although the bus service is infrequent compared to Europe they will drop you off where you like. One of our highlights was a whale watching trip with 3 humpbacked whales around our boat! Great place for a relaxing break!"

"Great one bedroom apartment in the center of town. Photos and description are accurate. Apartment is up to date, and well stocked with quality kitchen supplies. Walk out your door to the Rockport harbor."

  • Fabulous Marblehead neck Home!!!

"Our family had a very sentimental visit to this beautiful home a few weeks ago. My family owned this home in the 60’s and our visit brought back some great memories. The new owners have done a fabulous job renovating this home. You feel that you are staying in a home out of Architectural Digest! Our children especially enjoyed the family friendly amenities with a great playroom in the basement designed for kids. This home is gorgeous and right in the middle of all the great things that Marblehead has to offer. We look forward to coming back!"
