  • Beautiful house!

"My friends and I rented this house for a weekend writing retreat. It's a beautiful well-equipped property, just a short walk from the beach, and we loved our stay. We got to see some amazing sunsets from the back porch. The owner was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We are looking forward to going back next year."

  • Seaside charmer yet still convenient to Boston!

"We had the opportunity to spend the winter at Megan's house, our "winter beach house." After living in the city, we were looking for the chance to escape our busy city lives, have a unique experience (which winters in Hull can be!) and still be convenient to our jobs in Boston. This house offers the perfect combination of beachside living with the convenience we sought. The house is one block from the beach and the boat into Boston, which is a great experience on its own. Although it's on the very tip of Hull, the drive into town is fairly quick and there are so many great restaurants and shops in Hull and nearby Hingham. The house itself is adorable - good use of space, attention to detail, fully stocked and is decorated lovely. The bedrooms/closets are on the smaller side but are very functional with comfortable furniture. There are AWESOME decks on both the first and second floors - we loved sitting on the upper deck with our dogs and a glass of wine, watching the sunset or the boats come in. On clear nights, we could even see the sparkle of the city! For those considering a stay in the summer, this house is the PERFECT location to enjoy a somewhat quieter beach than Nantasket (although is a quick drive or bike ride to Nantasket if you prefer), with the convenience both to town and Boston. For those considering a stay during the off-season, this house offers a peaceful retreat from busy city life. Winters in Hull are actually quite lovely; the mist that covers the ocean in the winter offers an almost romantic backdrop for this peaceful escape!"

  • Sorry to say........

"That this is a fabulous home with a very thorough and thoughtful owner. The home is beautifully decorated, the views magnificent and there is nothing that has been overlooked by the owner. It is as if he is going to be entertaining for and anticipating the needs of close friends. Truly all you need is to bring a few clothes and personal items.... If you want to enjoy your vacation in a casually elegant spot, then jump on this rental! I almost hate to say this, as we probably will find ourselves unable to rent again due to popular demand..... Having lived in Hull for many years, it was like coming home again, but better....thank you Sean for a memorable week with our family and a truly enjoyable vacation....We love your home....wish we could have stayed longer......PS Anne, the women who cares for the property is a gem!"

You can have all the amenities from multiple bedrooms and kitchens to private patios and decks.

This seaside town comprises three square miles featuring 29 miles of beautiful shoreline. The Islands Beckon

The Harbor Islands beckon with ranger programs and special events, while Spectacle Island features a marina, visitors' center, beaches, and miles of walking trails. You can also enjoy swimming and other water sports.

Be sure to take a short trip from your south of Boston lodging to visit Fort Revere Park that offers a variety of recreation and educational activities. This park also offers and observation deck for some of the best views in Massachusetts, including the Boston Lighthouse.

Another attraction to visit is the Fort Revere Officers' Quarters Museum that offers artifacts and military history from 1632 to post-World War II. And close by is World's End—four coastal drumlins: Pine Hill, Planter's Hill, and the double drumlins of World's End proper.
