  • An extended family Thanksgiving adventure!

"My wife and I left the New York Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade to arrive at Starfish Cottage in beautiful Plymouth Harbor. What a lovely place to bring my daughter, her husband and the grandchildren. As the ad suggested it is a very child friendly place and the grandchildren had so many things to play with and everything about Starfish was lovely. It is handily located right next to the entrance of The Plimouth Plantation and we had scheduled the seasonal Thanksgiving dinner with the Pilgrims and Wampaog Indians. It is close to The Mayflower and don't miss the important Monument of our Forefathers. Can I suggest staying at starfish and take a daytrip over to Boston and visit the Boston Harbor Museum. You and your children will love the experience of throwing tea into the Harbor! So much to do all around Starfish and it was an experience we will always treasure. So glad Rita came over and met the family one evening. Such a very nice person and wonderful host. Sorry we didn't get to meet the daughter. Can I suggest that you spend some time in Plymouth showing your family where it all began and if we get back we are going to be staying at Starfish Cottage! Randy...."

  • Great Stay

"Our family of four had a lovely stay for a week during the summer. The house is big with a lovely pool that was used every single day. Although secluded, it is only a short distance to the centre of Hingham and the Shipyard with its entertainment and easy ferry access to the centre of Boston. A great holiday and definitely a house to return to."

  • Wonderful home for a girls getaway!

"We stayed here for my sister's bachelorette weekend and the house was absolutely perfect. It is so charming and quaint (but spacious!), and really feels like a home away from home. There was more than enough room for 11 women to lounge and sleep, and we even had a private chef come for dinner one night and we were all able to gather around the dining room table with plenty of space for all of us. Dawn was so nice and accommodating, and was available for anything we needed throughout the weekend. Anything you might need--grocery store, liquor, coffee, pizza, etc.--is withing walking distance, and downtown Plymouth is just a short drive away. Plus, the beach is right at the end of the road and offers a wonderful view and opportunity for an evening bonfire even in the Fall when it isn't "beach weather." I would recommend this home to any group looking for a comfortable stay in a truly charming location. It's even better than the pictures! We loved it."

  • Labor Day weekend

"Just spent a fun-filled relaxing weekend at Carolgene's place at Priscilla Beach. This is a very comfortable, attractive, home. The first floor is spacious, seating for a group and conducive to finding a space for quiet time if you prefer. The second floor boasts four bedrooms and a full bath, plenty of comfortable beds for a houseful. Linens were provided too! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the office has a real mattress and not an air mattress. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are three choices for dinner seating; outside deck, screened porch, or in the kitchen. Carolgene's property is a short walk to Priscilla Beach, step out her front door and you can see the ocean from the street. This is a family beach, complete with Labor Day foot races and our own small tidal pool, perfect for the little ones. There are plenty of extras in Carolgene's house, beach chairs, games, etc. Priscilla Beach is a family friendly area, close to a large grocery store and a drug store. Carolgene was organized, responsive and easy to work with. Look forward to renting again. Thanks Carolgene, our weekend was everything we wanted it to be!"
