  • Wonderful Accommodation

"Wonderful Accommodation Mike was easy to contact and made the renting process easy. He was very accommodating and his home is magnificent. My friends and I enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area. This is a beautiful home and I highly recommend a stay here at the Beach House."

  • Fantastic location, unusual character home

"Had a great one week stay at this unusual and cleverly designed house on the water. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy - if you can get your family away from the comfortable reading nook. House was in great condition with all amenties that might be required. Marc was fast and helpful with his answers to any queries. Great location not only to enjoy Nantasket Beach, but also perfect way to access Boston via fast ferry from Hull or Hingham without the traffic or parking concerns."

  • Wonderful house, wonderful owners

"We stayed at this house over President's Day weekend 2014. I cannot say enough good things about this house, the location, or the owners! We mainly worked with Ed. He made sure that our stay was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Normally people don't rent houses during the winter, so we were in the odd there, if you are planning to visit Hull in the winter (or any season) I would highly recommend renting this home. The kitchen was fully equipped (minus a not-needed dishwasher). We did bring our own towels and blankets, but they were offered to us for a small fee. If we were staying longer, we would have purchased the sheets, etc. We were a close walk to the bay and to town. I would can't speak highly enough of the house, best of luck on your rental!"

  • perfect

"This was our first multi-generational family vacation, and it was perfect in all ways, in large part because of the amazing location--water, water everywhere!---and because the home had absolutely everything we could possibly need. We especially loved the sun porch (where we had lovely dinners), the lawn (where we played capture the flag each night) and the kayaks we rented (which we used to explore the fascinating marshlands). We would return in a blink."

Mattapoisett Travel Tips

Mattapoisett Vacation Rentals for the Homey Feeling on the South Shore

The name may be unusual and unknown to many, but Mattapoisett is a great vacation location. To discover what this town on Massachusetts South Shore has to offer, rent one of the Mattapoisett vacation rentals for a week or more. From your holiday home, you can explore and enjoy the wonders of Mattapoisett.

Mattapoisett is a holiday maker's dream come true. Some of Mattapoisett beach homes are almost on the beach itself. This provides convenience for those who want a dip, or just need to feel the cool ocean breezes as they laze around. The name of the town is quite appropriate, as it is truly "a place of rest." The Wampanoag Indians gave the name Mattapoisett.

Exploring the Wonders of Mattapoisett

Golfers can practice their swing at The Bay Club at Mattapoisett or the Reservation Golf Club. A visit to the Mattapoisett Historical Society will provide an interesting glimpse into the development of Mattapoisett and New England itself. Visitors can actually see a real blacksmith shop. Mattapoisett vacation rentals give tourists an alternative accommodation when they come to Massachusetts to holiday. Visitors seeking Massachusetts South Shore lodging have a number of options to choose from. These include Mattapoisett beach homes, colonial style homes of varying sizes and designs, and bed and breakfasts.

A visit to Ned Point Lighthouse should be included on the itinerary of holidaymakers staying in any Mattapoisett vacation rentals. The Lighthouse, built in 1838 is a popular spot for engagements and even weddings. When it comes to food, even when staying in your own Mattapoisett vacation rentals you may never cook a meal. Restaurants of every type abound in Mattapoisett, where your choices include sushi, seafood, Japanese and other international cuisine. One of the favored restaurants for seafood is Mattapoisett Chowder House and Fish Market.
