  • Our trip to Westport. by granny

"My family enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is lovely and worked well for our family. In fact this is the second time we stayed there. My only complaint is we cleaned the house meticulously and were very shocked that our full deposit was not returned. We even washed all the linen and bathroom rugs. This is the only time in our ten years of renting homes that we did not get our full deposit back. The owner said she did not check the property after our stay but relied on the cleaning service to check. I would not stay there again because I feel I couldn't trust them again. Other than that I thought the property was very nice. We were not treated fairly. The homeowner said she would deal with this issue after she got back from a two week trip but she never called us. We called again but she never returned our call. Granny"

  • Stay here - you won't regret it!

"This house is immaculate - it's like stepping back in time, but much more comfortable, with all the mod cons! Tom and Millie couldn't be nicer or more accommodating and helpful. Hingham is so gorgeous, it's like a film set. Getting the ferry across to Boston is really lovely too (after catching a bus to the ferry). Can't really say enough positive things about our stay here. Special mention for one of the comfiest beds you'll ever sleep in too!!"

  • Amazing location by the beach

"The beach house is a wonderful place for a group - be it a family, friends, or even a group of colleagues. There is ample room in the house for 15 people - and lots of private spaces when you need to get away from the group. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, clean, with wifi and TV. We loved cooking group dinners, grilling, and sitting out on the porch together. However, the most amazing feature is the proximity to a nearly private, secluded beach. Just steps from the house is a beautiful bluff with benches to watch the ocean or catch the sunrise and sunset. Down the stairs you will find a gorgeous beach! Absolutely wonderful stay, really hope to come back, and would recommend this to anyone!"

  • A splendid family weekend

"Round Pond Cottage is indeed exquisite--a true find. The cottage is tastefully renovated and decorated, immaculate and thoughtfully outfitted with everything we could have imagined needing for our stay. It was a lovely spot for our family to gather to welcome a new grandchild and celebrate a birthday. We found the water in the tranquil pond warm enough in September for a dip as well as a paddle. The bedrooms are wonderfully comfortable and the spacious kitchen superbly designed and equipped. We enjoyed exploring the cranberry bogs and other ponds nearby, and we hope to return for a longer escape."
