"What a wonderful time we had at Barry's lovely home! The home itself was great. Very comfortable. So much fun for my 17 year old son and his girlfriend to swim, paddleboat, kayak, and fish in the rowboat. They loved to feed the ducks that stopped by every morning. My Mother and I loved just looking at the water and listening to music from the speakers on the deck. Easy access to the clear, sandy bottomed lake as well. The water was nice and warm. The yard and views are amazing. We went on another Whale Watch and my son and his girlfriend went deep sea fishing too! Amazing seafood restaurants (we recommend Wood's and Lobster Hut) as well as 99 restaurant that had a good steak! Cape Cod is so close we spent a day there and also at the Wellfleet Fleamarket. There is so much to do and see in the area that we missed because the kids wanted to stay at the lake all day! Needless to say we would recommend this lovely home to anyone! Thanks Barry, for a vacation to remember!"Guest: Cindy F. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 30, 2014View listing
"My friends and I rented this house for a weekend writing retreat. It's a beautiful well-equipped property, just a short walk from the beach, and we loved our stay. We got to see some amazing sunsets from the back porch. The owner was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We are looking forward to going back next year."Guest: Adriana C. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: August 19, 2014View listing
"We really enjoyed our stay. My 2 kids, wife, and I found it to be a perfect central location for exploring around Boston, Plymouth, and Cape Cod... and was a great place to come back to and relax. Hope to stay longer next time we're out that way."Guest: Scott Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 16, 2014View listing
"We stayed here for my sister's bachelorette weekend and the house was absolutely perfect. It is so charming and quaint (but spacious!), and really feels like a home away from home. There was more than enough room for 11 women to lounge and sleep, and we even had a private chef come for dinner one night and we were all able to gather around the dining room table with plenty of space for all of us. Dawn was so nice and accommodating, and was available for anything we needed throughout the weekend. Anything you might need--grocery store, liquor, coffee, pizza, etc.--is withing walking distance, and downtown Plymouth is just a short drive away. Plus, the beach is right at the end of the road and offers a wonderful view and opportunity for an evening bonfire even in the Fall when it isn't "beach weather." I would recommend this home to any group looking for a comfortable stay in a truly charming location. It's even better than the pictures! We loved it."Guest: Mary D.
