  • Just the perfect family getaway in the Berkshires

"Our new favorite place-thank you Corinna for making us feel right at home! The house had everything we needed: An incredible and unsuspected amount of space-which was perfect for us and four kids/teenagers ;-) The formal dining room was large -we had dinners and brunch with family and lingered in conversation it was so comfortable. In the eve we had cheese/crackers and wine out on the enclosed porch. The bedrooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The master was private and the other two bedrooms were far enough away that we all had privacy. Can't say enough about the charm and comfort of the whole house. I found myself in the kitchen wanting to bake with all the wonderful dishes that Corinna has available. Location was also perfect for us to do all we had planned-so close to GB. As a runner I was able to take off in different directions and enjoy a new run each day. The house is clean and well cared for and it shows! We hope to be back soon!"

  • Absolutely Great

"We had an absolutley excellant time and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We had done a lot of looking and really liked the way it did not have neighbors all over. We were so happy we made this our home for the time we were there. The inside is basic, clean and has everything you need. You can see the water from the porch and hear the waves. It is exactly a one minute walk to the top of the stairs leading down to the priivate beach. There were many times that we were the only ones along the entire shore, as far as you could see. I would certainly tell anyone that they should stay here. Dana was great to work with and we certainly hope to stay there in the future."

  • Lovely Quiet Vacation Spot

"We stayed for several weeks at this lovely vacation home. Just as the caretaker promised it had a magical quality to it. Upon first arriving you will find a sweet farmhouse surrounded by green hills and fields, along the Green River. The house is spacious and comfortable, full of the artifacts of an interesting family life. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of linens, the sunny bathrooms have deep soak tubs, the living areas are lived-in in a good way, and the kitchen has absolutely everything you need for small family meals or feasts. We came to relax, spend time together as a family and with friends, and explore the quiet beauty of the area. No big attractions, no bling, no fancy restaurants, not much night life -- but great walks and bike rides, covered bridges, interesting historical explorations, fresh farm food at local markets, and most of all a quiet little river to play in. We took our young son to the river at least once a day to play on the rocks, swim, make leaf boats or hunt for salamanders. We went to bed listening to the running river and a chorus of crickets. The stars at night, oh my!! We biked to the covered bridge in Vermont at least twice and week and had a picnic before returning. The caretaker took care of every little thing that came up quickly and graciously. He is a wonderful source of information about many things! We explored the area towns with their beauty and arts, but our favorite days were spent reading in the house, doing yoga on the porch, playing by the river, grilling outside, and going to sleep to the wondrous night sounds."
