  • Oak Bluffs victorian family beach house

"I must say i was a little skeptical at first. I was looking for a place that a large family could stay and play together. This was the place. The expansive front porch is the perfect social hub. the updated kitchen was good for cooking, I would bring few of my own favorite gadgets next time. We grilled all of our meals and ate in the great back yard. All the rooms do have cable tv and wifi is available. I would update the decor a little, thats just my personal taste, but the bones are all there. Well maintained, plus all those bathrooms the location is the best part of it all. 2 blocks from the ink well. 2 blocks from the basketball courts and tennis courts. and 2 blocks from center of town. what more could you want? The owner is charming and gets things done when you can get him. He is a busy guy. I would highly commend this place"

  • Girls' Trip

"This house is fabulous. You get a real sense of the true Cape Cod. Our group of eight loved sitting on the porch drinking coffee before heading out to Provincetown, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. All easily accessible from the house. October is the perfect time of year. We had more than enough room for eight. Enjoyed the fireplace at night while playing games. It was a pleasure working with the owner. She was always very helpful and gave great ideas for sightseeing. I would rent it again in a second. Thanks for making the trip a true Cape Cod experience."

  • Fantastic in every way.

"We just loved this home and I can only say wonderful things about it. The floor plan is great with a master bedroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The master has a private sitting room which has a pull out sofa if you need it. It also has a private, full bath. I love that this house is a home, not just a house! We had looked at several rentals that were so cold and bare. This home is cozy and loved. The beach is pretty close by, as is downtown Hyannis. We could walk to either with no problem at all. The large back yard is private and has a great deck and a gas grill is available if you'd like. There is wifi, a very nice television, cable, and movies (DVDs). These owners have really done everything to provide guests with the comforts of home. There was absolutely nothing that we needed that was not there, and the owners were available by telephone if anything came up...I had a few questions about our stay. Owners provided wonderfully detailed instructions, which I really appreciated. Though my dad lives on the Cape, I plan to return to this home again, hopefully sooner than later. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing stay!!"

  • An excellent and easy getaway

"We've stayed here twice and absolutely love the cottage. Its filled with everything you could want for a vacation and, being without a car, is only a few minutes from everything else. The outdoor shower is great for after the beach and making a quick clean-up before going back out again. Right off of all the bike paths, we easily were able to bike to any other part of the island. The owner is most gracious and very easy to work with. We wholeheartedly recommend."
