  • A wonderful stay at Stepping Stone & Pebbles

"Rented Stepping Stones and the cottage behind it, Pebbles, for my wedding at Wychmere Beach Club over Columbus Day Weekend. Put extended family in the house and me and my wife in Pebbles. Was a perfect combination and gave us the privacy needed but with proximity to family and of course Wychmere. While we didn't spend a ton of time in the main house, my family loved it and it seemed to work well. There were 4 couples and 3 kids. The layout has an abundance of twin and full beds, with only 3 kings/queens, not including the pull out couch, so you'll want to think through the layout since if you have 5 or 6 couples, a few won't be able to sleep in the same bed. The house is huge and spacious and wonderfully equipped. Pebbles was great too! A great gas fireplace, nice bed, kitchen, bathroom, and very charming. My wife got ready here with family and bridesmaids, and we did our first look right across the street at the Wychmere overlook. If you are getting married at Wychmere this is the ideal spot as it's walkable to everything! MaryLynn was wonderful to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed. Such a wonderful stay and so glad we found this house and lucky that it was still available. Book soon! Is also such an affordable and superior option to a hotel or inn."

  • Wonderful cabin

"This was our first trip to the Berkshires and I wanted a cabin/home by a lake so that our teenage sons and any friends that visited us would have a ready source of entertainment. I didn't want a fancy home, but rather something that felt like a lake house. This home fit the bill. The living room is just as pictured, huge windows looking out on the surrounding woods. A fantastic place to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the wildlife (in particular a rabbit my oldest son even named) and relax. The lake was a short walk down a grass path and there were plenty of back roads that I could run on in the area. We spent time walking in the area and at Pittsfield State Forest. We also visited the Catamount Trees Aerial Adventure Park and had a fantastic time there. It's not to be missed if you have adventure lovers in your group. And most of all, we relaxed, read books, put together puzzles, and spent time catching up with old friends. It was a fantastic vacation."

  • Long Time Cape Vacationers

"Our group has been vacationing on the Cape together for the past 35 years. We have rented a variety of homes in both Brewster & Eastham. This is by far one of the best places we have rented in recent history. The home was extremely clean & well maintained. The layout is perfect for a large gathering. The location makes for quick trips into Orleans, Eastham & Brewster. The owners were easy to contact and gracious. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!"

  • Outstanding Experience!

"Excellent choice for Martha's VIneyard! Perfect East Chop location for walking, riding and enjoying the island, with or without a car. The house is perfectly situated for taking in the harbor from all rooms, and the deck off the back of the house is a vacation unto itself. We enjoyed relaxing on it every day, and the upper deck and sitting area in the MBR are also great retreats. Everything in the house is tastefully appointed and accomodating and as mentioned in other reviews, anything you need to enjoy your vacation is right there at the property. Tom and Laurie are great and offer incredibly comprehensive information so that you have all the island intel you can need- from restaurants to where to get bikes, etc. We will definitely be returning to the vineyard and this home. A truly relaxing and enjoyable experience."
