  • My dream vacation with the most spectacular hosts!

"I have had the good fortune to rent from Amanda and Scott both last year and this year. The house is spectacular! It is decorated beautifully and the finishes are of the highest quality. It's honestly my dream home and I never want to leave. The location is spectacular. It is extremely close to the beach at the end of the road and a short drive into town. I often even walk into town for dinner (about 30 mins) and take a quick taxi back. Nantucket is wonderful place and this home is situated perfectly to take advantage of it. Amanda and Scott leave nothing unattended. Everything is sparkling clean and your needs are anticipated. For example, I was doing a load of laundry and pulled the dryer sheet out and thought where am I going to put this? I looked down and there was a small trash can just for that purpose. Sounds small, but tells you the level of detail they think of. In addition, they are extremely kind. Just one example: Scott helped me with the laborious process of taking down the soft top on my rental Jeep. We have shared laughs over wine and dinner and they are the most gracious people and super fun to be with. It feels like home but they also provide as much privacy as you want. To sum it up: It's perfect. You should go. It will be the best rental experience you ever have and a dream vacation. I will be back as often as I can!"

  • Perfect spot!

"Just returned from a fabulous 4 day stay in Boston and this perfect apartment! As a frequent user of VRBO, I am always aware of the "little things" that make a big difference. This apartment is very clean and well appointed. The pillows and linens are top notch, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you may need. We even enjoyed the common outdoor space of the building. This space is small, but never felt cramped. The location can't be beat. We picked up the trolley tour in front of the capitol building, which is a very short walk. We were able to walk every place we wanted to go: the esplanade, Quincy market, Faneuil Hall, the North End (get a cannoli from Mike's Pastry), Boston Common, the Public Garden, even Fenway Park. The subway lines are also very conveniently located. You won't be disappointed in this apartment. It is beautifully done and will be our first choice on any future Boston trips!"

  • Bright, tastefully decorated cottage in lovely setting

"Perfect for two. Layout for enjoyable stay with dining area, sitting area and small bathroom with roomy shower. Well supplied kitchen with stove, oven, full size fridge. Comfortable double bed with quality linens. Handy to mid-Cape activities or just stay at the cottage for a relaxing time. Spacious yard is lush and deck is handy for grilling. Gardens are profuse and lovely. Nearby Audubon trail is nice walk. Cummaquid is a beautiful, historic part of the Cape. We would definitely stay here again. Owner very accommodating."

  • A home away from home in Harwich!

"Centrally located on the best part of the Cape, this home is perfectly equipped with all the amenities of home, as well as everything you need to enjoy a nice vacation. The living space is clean and comfortable, and is as well furnished as your own house would be. Every detail has been addressed - from the expected things like the kitchen that has any utensil, pot, pan, mug, wine glass, colander, cheese board, bottle opener, etc that you'd ever want, to the unexpected like games for the kids, a fully stocked linen closet, and even a nicely assembled collection of flyers and other propaganda detailing local tourist attractions and restaurants. One of the unexpected surprises was the availability of portable beach chairs and sand pails to take on your trips to the shore! Our family spent 9 days here with grandma and grandpa (and their dog, who was also welcomed by the owner) and had a very pleasurable trip. The home is located off any of the main roads, but routes 28 and 6 are close enough that you're conveniently able to get anywhere on the Cape you want without the hassle of being right on one of the main roads. The house sits on a very quiet street with a well maintained yard, and has a beautiful attached back deck that provided a quiet place to unwind at the end of each day. If you like biking, the bike trail travels just past the back edge of the wooded property and is easily accessible. The owner obviously takes great pride in providing a memorable stay for his guests, and even added small details like a nice bottle of locally produced wine and some beer for our enjoyment. If you can't stand the annoyance of being right in the middle of all the crowds, don't care about being directly ON the beach, and want a relaxing, clean, comfortable house to call home while visiting the Cape, you should give this property a serious look!"
