"I recently decided to take a last minute trip from my home in New Mexico to visit relatives in the Lapeer Michigan (where I was born and raised) area. I stayed with a close cousin for a few days in North Branch and an aunt in Davison for a few more. My dilemma was that I have a daughter with a large family (four children) who wanted to come up to see me from Ohio for a few days. I didn't want to impose on other family members to provide room for my daughter and her kids, so I searched on-line for a cottage rental in the Lapeer area.
I was happy to find this cottage tucked away on quiet Potters Lake. It is very close to all the amenities one may need while on holiday, what with Lapeer located only six miles to the east. I found the cottage very much to my liking as it was warm and cozy with a tremendous amount of room and a fantastic view of the lake.
The owners, Mike and Lori, were extememely nice and very accommodating. They went out of their way to insure that I had everything I needed to make my stay an enjoyable experience. They respected my privacy completely, yet made themselves available with a quick phone call should a need arise.
I am looking forward to going back to Potters Lake during a warmer month (my thin New Mexican blood in mind) and sharing this great cottage and Potters Lake experience with my wife and two younger children in the near future.
Thanks again for a great time Mike and Lori.
