  • Perfect cottage for a small reunion!

"Owners posting of a recent guest's email comments (with permission!) concerning their first ever "siblings and spouses only" reunion at Otsego Lake: Thank you. The cottage was perfect for our small reunion of seven. Everyone enjoyed the location and comfortable "feel" of it. I was considering posting a review on VRBO but I didn't see where you needed another 5 stars!! Thanks again. Will."

  • Wonderful family vacation!

"We stayed here for a week with another family and our babies. We had a wonderful time exploring the raspberry-lined path to the river, going for walks on the trail nearby, and making use of the many places inside the cottage and on the large deck to eat and relax. We really enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen to make meals together. Sandie and Bill were wonderful hosts and brought us arugula and kale from their garden. Their cottage was beautiful inside- one of a kind with creative decor. We appreciated the privacy from the surrounding area. We enjoyed going for day trips to Harbour Springs and Petosky. Overall, we had a wonderful time in the comfortable and well-stocked cottage and hope to return to the area soon for another relaxing vacation."

  • Kayaking

"My husband and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law, enjoyed this cute yellow cottage in the woods near Higgins Lake as our base from which we kayaked in the area. The cottage was immaculate and uncluttered. It was perfectly adequate for a weekend getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were more than comfortable."

  • Great relaxing getaway location!

"This destination exceeded our expectations. The cottage was clean, well-stocked with the basics, and the location was unbeatable for getting away. Even with the dips in temps (low 50s during the day and 40s overnight), we had wood to make fires, and great views of Lake Huron - beautiful sunrises. We visited the town, Ocqueoc waterfalls, and Mackinaw City. We walked the beach and biked the trail. And being able to bring our senior dog was a big plus. Thank you! We are planning to return next year."
