  • Totally Wonderful Family Gathering

"Our family would just like to thank you for making our annual family gathering one of THE BEST EVER! All 20 of us, including grandparents, parents, and children, plus 4 small dogs had one of the greatest 3 days of our lives! It was so nice to wake up in the morning and see the entire family together for meals and such. All of us participated in the outside games and went swimming at Lake Otsego which had a very wonderful beach and swimming area...We would recommend staying at the log cabin for especially families who want to have especially the grandchildren play with their cousins that they don't see very often. Shari and Teresa were so eager to please and make us comfortable in our stay at Lake Wequas. Sincerely, Mike & Linda and Family"

  • "All That" and more!

"Many thanks to the home owners for renting to us. It was a lovely home/location. Mullet Lake is our favorite destination. This house fit our needs perfectly. It was a neat, uncluttered vacation home that allowed us to just have fun. The owners were very responsive and helpful . . .answering our questions and needs. They even sent back a few items - left behind. We could not have been happier. Thanks for an AWESOME week!"

  • Privacy plus

"We stayed at the "Tuthill House" for a month, so our "likes and dislikes" may not be typical. From the time of our first inquiry about the property, until the time of our departure (and even after), the owner was always available and quickly addressed our needs. Calling this place a cottage is not appropriate....it is much, much more! Ample room for 2 couples! The house was clean and neat upon our arrival, and there was ample bedding. The amount of glassware, silverware/utensils, dinnerware and pots & pans was amazing, and the gas grill better than we have at home. Privacy abounds; the setting is in the nicest residential neighborhood on the lake, and yet, shopping and restaurants are relatively nearby. The hard-sand lake bottom extends about 400 yards out into the lake (about 4' deep), and is great for playing in the water. For us, being away from home for 6+ weeks, the included WiFi was a godsend. The resident mallard ducks are always looking for a hand-out and will even eat out your hand if you're patient enough. What didn't we like? The beds were unsatisfactory.....too soft and sagged toward the middle. The dark log interior begs for brighter lighting. The sprinkler system wets downs the front porch (and everything on it) every morning. And, although the dock is nice, it's shared with the next-door property, and with the house being on the East side of the lake, it is usually too rough for small boats, but GREAT for water toys. Not much for "dislikes".....we had a great time and would probably rent again & could certainly recommend it."
