  • Nice!

"We loved our stay at this cottage! The cottage was very clean and comfortably furnished. It is definitely well taken care of. The area is very peaceful. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus. Jim, the owner, was very prompt in responding to our emails so planning for our visit was very easy."

  • June Vacation

"We have been to The View for our vacation for several years now. We love the cottage and its location on the lake. There is ample space for us and any family members that can join us. The cottage is always clean & ready for us when we arrive and our hosts are always cordial. We hope to enjoy these visits for years to come. Thanks"

  • The Perfect Place

"We have been renting summer cottages for over 17 years and have now found the "perfect place." This large family-friendly lake home has everything--Lake Huron with a sandy bottom (no rocks or weeds), a large sandy beach, a kitchen with a lakeview where cooking is a pleasure, a big open dining room, and two family areas with large window walls catching the lake breezes. Plenty of space for a family of 12 (Grandmother, parents, teenagers, and 20+) to enjoy swimming, sunbathing, volleyball, quiet reading areas, singing around the campfire, games, fishing on Lake Huron and the many small lakes nearby, shopping, kayaking, biking, trails nearby for four-wheeling, and watching spectacular sunrises. We are hoping to return next year."
