"We loved this condo and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. The Shores Condominium complex is a very beautiful property with lovely landscaping and a clean heated pool. We would never stay in a hotel again after finding this gem! Close to everything and yet it was quiet and peaceful and away from all the "traffic" of Mackinaw City. The condo itself was clean and cute and truly felt like our home away from home. There is everything you need and more in the kitchen. The king size bed was so comfortable and the washer and dryer were just added bonuses. I could go on and on about how great it is....on a cool night we even used the gas fireplace! How cool is that? The only thing that needs mentioning is the living room furniture. These chairs need to be replaced. For our small family of 3, the fold out double bed was just OK for our 10 y/o daughter. If you have older kids or more adults, you may be uncomfortable on these futons. They are nothing more than thin foam cushions that lay on the floor. You might want to consider bringing air mattresses if you plan on using anything other than the King size bed."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay here with 9 adults and a small dog. The place could sleep at least 16 if 4 or 5 are kids. In the 70's we had our first family cottage vacation in Ontario where we learned to play a game called "aggravation" using cards instead of dice. We have played as a family ever since. My dad chose this cottage to leave his hand made 6 player board with marbles and cards. That's how special he felt the place to be. We did have some rain, but we made it out on the lake every day, and we had great bonfires most nights. Wonderful furnishings in the great-room, and a large screen T.V. just like we have at home. We suggest you choose this one."

Perfect place for the family or your office getwaway
"We will keep coming back!
After spending weeks looking for the perfect spot to stay "Up North" we found this property. The house and cabins were clean, well-maintained and ideal for our needs. The rooms were spacious and the linens were spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed...it was almost like being at home, but much better because we weren't at home!
Did I mention that we were only a short distance from the backdoor to the lake? And what a lake it is! The dock allowed us to secure our boat and made for a quick get-away when the kids were ready to ski.
If you ever want a place to watch a summer sunset...just right outside your back door and just feet from the lake...this is your place.
Thank you to the landlord for making this a perfect vacation for our families and once for our entire staff!"

"This is the fourth year our family of 5 has been to "the yellow house" as my kids like to call it. It has been the perfect getaway for our family and that is why we keep coming back. The kids have a small beach to play and can comfortably walk into the water to swim. The kids can also catch all the small fish they want and I can catch some nice bass and pike right off the dock too. Included in the rental is the pontoon boat and all the toys you could want...kayaks, canoes, rowboat, paddleboards. We bring up a tube so we can pull the kids around the lake too. This year is the first year we even saw someone else out on the lake. The lake is not huge but it does the trick and you do not have to worry about others interrupting your family fun. We also brought up a 4-wheeler this year which made it easier to explore the trails and was another fun activity for us to do. There are also plenty of games and movies when the weather brings you inside. No cell phone service but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The bugs can also be bad at times. Thanks to Mike and Tiffany for sharing their place."
