  • Very nice cabin and had a great week!

"The cabin was great shape and we had a great week. My only wish is that we could be there next year. Great setting and fun neighbors."

  • Great House

"Our family truly loved and enjoyed our stay at the fabulous house on Burt Lake. We had 8 adults and 6 children staying there and never had a problem with overcrowding. We have been doing this family get together for the last eight years and this is by far the nicest, cleanest and all around best accommodating home we have stayed at. Thanks to Tom and family."

  • Beautiful property!

"Our extended family of eight stayed at this beautiful location. It was more than comfortable for that size group with a great floor plan. We loved the big and well-stocked kitchen, comfy great room, big deck, the dock for swimming, the canoeing and the amazing sunsets! Great location as it is close to Petoskey and Mackinac Island. Even the little town of Indian River offers some fun shopping and eateries, we enjoyed our waitress and the laid back atmosphere of "The Inn Between" as well as the food. An overall great family vacation!!"

  • A Cottage, NOT!

"My idea of a cottage is an old, musky and well-worn place, where you have to listen to a squeaky old screen door that doesn't quite close. Where mosquitos follow you indoors and outdoors. This is anything but a cottage. It is a private get-away. A retreat. A place where you can watch the sunrise, skip stones and have a private campfire. We used this as our base, which is only 20 minutes from the "Mighty Mac." While there we visited the Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls, Sleepy Bear Dunes, Mackinaw City, and Mackinac Island. The only reason we would not recommend this place is because we want to go next year and don't want the competition."
