"This Lodge is truly beautiful! From the HUGE logs that were used to build it , to the tiny little stones that were meticulously laid and must have taken forever to do! The quality of workmanship is evident throughout . And is a testament to the owners wish of making your stay a very memorable experience. The front porch and wrap around deck is out of this world. A cozy place to curl up with a book, or drinks/cocktails at the end of the day. The sound system makes it a party for everyone with a wide variety of music . Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of spices. Every room in the lodge is unique in its own way with the watchful eye of its most honourable owner "Tank". The location is perfect , just a short drive for groceries and conveinances. And a short drive to marinas, Burt and Mullett Lakes are wonderful , with the Indian River separating the two , it makes for a wonderful day on the boat! The basement is beautiful, theres plenty of room for everyone here . We had eight adults and three small children, beds for everyone. With enough adult supervision our grandson was able to work on his climbing up and down the stairs technique. The five and three year olds were too busy exploring , the trail to the river, the trail off the campfire pit, the huge porch with chipmunks and birds within reach. Sandie was always very helpful and mindful of the needs of her guests. We've rented a few cabins in the past and this was undoubtably one of the best if not the best ! Beautiful setting, top notch accomodations and wonderfully courteous owners. My favorite thing was " The Sturgeon", whoever did that was pretty darn crafty! My only regret was that I could not drink my coffee on the front porch in the morning snuggled in a warm sweatshirt listening to the rain come down , because the weather was perfect all week long! Oh well, would love to come back in the fall!"

"This is it, location is everything and this beautiful home sits on the best bay (Sturgeon Bay) on Burt lake(4th largest inland lake in Michigan). Beautiful home with a perfect sandy beach for children and the Inland water way system(38 miles long)which makes this a boaters paradise. I have boated Crystal lake and Torch lake, but they don't even come close to this water system with countless restaurants and beaches and destinations to choose from. This place has it all, awesooooome."

"My wife and I enjoyed a nice week off from all the stress at work. The cabin is clean and well kept. Its in a good location to enjoy all what northern Michigan has to offer. We ate at Legs in Cross Village to enjoy the best Polish food since my Grandmother was alive. We canoed on the Sturgeon river which is always exciting but even more so this time , with very high water. Thanks again for a worry free stay."
