"Very private area, was nice to have the park/pool/pavilion area. Took advantage of the hot tub and kayaks. Canoe was accidentally locked up so we couldn't use it but was no big deal. Was quiet on the lakes. Enjoyed our time outside of the one rainy day. Doreen and John were helpful."

Everything you need for a wonderful stay in Gaylord!
"This spacious, gorgeous condo has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Gaylord -- and it is even nicer than portrayed in the photos! It was our home-away-from-home for 7 nights as we gathered our family for a wedding. Comfortably slept 10 adults (12 one night!) and 2 children. We cooked every meal (except for wedding dinner) in the beautifully redesigned kitchen. Lots of seating in the great room/kitchen bar area. We had some late night partiers among us and those who wanted to go to bed earlier were able to do so and sleep with minimal-no noise distractions. The 3 1/2 baths are very nice and easily met the needs of our large group. The decks and patio provide lovely views. We brought camp chairs and my father especially enjoyed time reading out on the main deck. The accessibility of the garage to the condo is perfect and we were able to keep our coolers there -- accessible and out of the way. There would be plenty of space to store your bikes, golf clubs, or skis. The location couldn't be more ideal. It is just outside of town -- close to grocery stores but still a quiet country setting -- and close to many golf clubs. My entire family agreed we would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Dans place was absolutely perfect. It was very cozy and in a perfect location. Dan was a pleasure to work with, incredibly friendly and flexible. I plan on staying here any time we visit Gaylord . The only bummer was the Otsego Club is now private and was closed. It wasn't an issue however because Treetops has similar activities and was just around the corner."

"We were there from 6/30/2015 - 7/5/2015 and had a great time.I do have some feedback however:
My original plan was to use the canal to dock a couple jetski's and cruise Otsego lake. When I got there I realized there were huge bolts sticking out of the seawall every 7 feet, no cleats to tie anything up to, and no ladder to climb up from. Also the water depth was around 1ft near the seawall.
The terms and conditions tell you that using the canal is at your own risk... but lets just put it bluntly, its unusable. Your renting property on the water, but its only for the view, not for use.
I ended up going to Houghton Lake twice (45 minute drive), and Torch Lake (50 minute drive) for July4th, and I had a blast.
Kitchen was well stock with everything I needed to make great meals.
I got my security deposit back promptly
Owner let me extend my stay with ease
Grill was dirty, and empty. The cover is ripped, and the tree drops all kinds of stuff on it. (I had my own grill so I used that, or I would have been more unhappy)
Can-Opener is still broke (Originally submitted in feedback a long time ago)
No dishwasher soap
Cant use canal"
