"We visited in August of 2013. The house was great for what we needed. As the owners will tell you do not expect a 5 star hotel but do expect plenty of room and everything you need other then food. We had a large group of people with us and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. If you rent the boat it is good for cruises and fishing, plus the row boat, the kayaks, paddle boat was great for evening fishing near the house. The lake was as blue as people say, the fishing was fair. I did catch a few good bass out of the weeds and we may have broke a record for catching the smallest fish in the lake. All in all it was a great week and we would rent there again."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: August 2013 Review Submitted: August 20, 2013View listing
"Brought the entire family up to Dan's condo and it was a fabulous weekend. The condo was very neat and spacious. There were 9 of us (8 adults, 1 grandson) and we didnt even use one of the bedrooms. Nice, big flat screen TV above the fireplace with plenty of channels for your viewing pleasure. This Otsego Club condo is 5 minutes away from Treetops (extreme tubing) and 2 minutes away from downtown Gaylord. You also can ski right on site at the Otsego club. Dan is a great host and works to ensure you have a memorable visit. I highly recommend this clean, spacious condo where you can truly appreciate Northern Michigan at its finest, winter or summer! Thanks again Dan!"Guest: Dave Z. Date of Stay: February 2013 Review Submitted: February 11, 2013View listing
"The cottage was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and well maintained. We loved having a house on the lake with enough space for our whole family and not be crowded. We can hardly wait to plan another trip to Northern MI and this great home. Wonderful memories were made. Recommend to anyone that wants a quiet lake and a wonderful vacation."Guest: Jacobs Family Date of Stay: July 2013 Review Submitted: August 2, 2013View listing
"We had a great time @ Sunset Beach this week. From the layout of the chalet to having anything on hand necessary to live here for a week... Wow, Dorene & John thought of everything! We had our 16 & 20 yr old daughters with us most of the week & they never complained of being bored! The 4th fireworks were fantastic & we never had to leave the property for the show! Only negative is the Internet & phone service were both sketchy. We had a family crises back home & our phone calls were repeatedly dropped. Everything else here was top notch! We will definitely be back! Thanks again John & Dorene, Ken, Susan, Michelle & Catherine"Guest: Susan Date of Stay: June 2013 Review Submitted: July 6, 2013View listing
