"We three middle-aged women truly enjoyed this cottage. Plenty of room in the bedrooms to move about. Not at all cramped, dingy, or musty as I've experienced in other rentals. We found clean, modern bathrooms and kitchen; refrigerator was spotless! We brought our own sheets, but cupboards are loaded with plenty of bath-towels, sheets, and blanket-throws for your beds and yourselves (while watching TV). Beds were as good as home: not very aged and no lumps. And the property location at the end of the road made for very quiet stay."

"This rental gave us more than we could have expected. First impression, the place was spotless. We've stayed many places and they are buggy and cob-webbed. Not here, it is a beautiful knotty pine getaway. The lake is quiet and clear of weedy vegetation that gets in the way of relaxing swimming. The main house is roomy and the boathouse is comfy. We all had a place to relax. My 75 year old mother in law had her own room with a bathroom, so that she could step away from the excitement when she wanted. Our 9, 8 and 5 year olds swam and fished every day. The location is remote enough to be a getaway, yet close enough to go on day trips to Mackinac Island or Sleeping Bear dunes. Great summer vacation!"

  • Nice and quiet

"We stayed here and made the daily drive to Treetops Resort to play golf. The resort is about 20 minutes away. The cottage has everything we needed including a nice gas grill. It was very clean. My only small complaint is the the bunkroom is VERY small...barely big enough for the bed that is in there. Not a deal breaker, just be prepared. Overall, I give this rental my full recommendation."
