  • Prefect week on the lake!

"Three generations of my family enjoyed this clean and nicely decorated cottage on beautiful Grand Lake. It was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed using the bikes and having campfires in the evening. Plenty of room for everyone and the guesthouse and fort are great for additional sleeping space. Great location to visit Alpena, Rogers City and several lighthouses. We even rented a pontoon boat on Grand Lake and the kids fished with their grandfather for the day. Overall, a great trip at a great cottage. We hope to come again! Owners are very helpful and our deposit was returned promptly which was appreciated."

  • Wonderful Cottage and weekend away!!

"Our visit got off to a little bit of a late start as there was a small plumbing issue (toilet just needed a new seal) that the maintenance person was already working on when we arrived. Once it was fixed and we were able to check in, we had a really great long weekend. We did not bring our favorite pillows and ended up buying pillows nearby but that's a personal preference, I think. We weren't sure which grill to use and the same maintenance person was there at a different unit and was extremely nice, friendly and helpful to us. We really loved the screened in porch and fire pit area. Wifi was helpful too, we looked up the nearby attractions and activities on our laptop. We visited Mackinac Island, the U.P. and some of the nearby parks, including the Dark Sky park and sunset park. We got some awesome sunset pictures on our last night there. It was a very peaceful and relaxing weekend - just what we were looking for!! The property was clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The management and maintenance person were both helpful and we would definitely recommend staying here. I also really liked that you do not have to rent the cottages for an entire week at a time, as we like to take long weekends away instead of one big trip."

  • West Londo Lake Relaxation

"ThisIsIt Cottage is your destination for fun and relaxation. The tranquil sunsets, early morning sun rise, Eagle flying overhead, Loons singing in the distant is the perfect recipe for a calm and rejuvenating vacation week. Your cottage is clean, tastefully decorated and the newly remodeled kitchen is great. Evenings were filled with sitting around the beach themed fire pit with benches, eating s'mores and enjoying the peaceful moonlit night. The Pontoon boat is wonderful for cruising, fishing and the kids really enjoyed tubing (daily!), the lake is crystal clear with enjoyable areas for swimming and great for Kayaking. Tawas is only 25 minutes away for shopping, dining and additional activities. We have rented several cottages in different locations throughout Michigan this is the best one. Thank you for the memories"

  • A Cottage, NOT!

"My idea of a cottage is an old, musky and well-worn place, where you have to listen to a squeaky old screen door that doesn't quite close. Where mosquitos follow you indoors and outdoors. This is anything but a cottage. It is a private get-away. A retreat. A place where you can watch the sunrise, skip stones and have a private campfire. We used this as our base, which is only 20 minutes from the "Mighty Mac." While there we visited the Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls, Sleepy Bear Dunes, Mackinaw City, and Mackinac Island. The only reason we would not recommend this place is because we want to go next year and don't want the competition."
