  • Wonderful experience - highly recommend!

"We had the best time while staying in this home right on the water! There were multiple families with us, of all ages, and everyone had plenty of space. Great layout for having lots of guests. Very comfortable and clean... not to mention the gorgeous views of sunsets on the lake! Such a pretty setting with the decks overlooking the water. I wish I could add photos because we took some great ones during our stay. Going out on the boat was a blast, very glad we opted to add this to our trip. Would definitely stay here again in the future."

  • Wonderful week!!

"My wife and I had a great week on the shore of Lake Huron! This home is beautiful and so are the surroundings! We enjoyed two bottles of wine that greeted us when we moved in, but the best part was the sound of the waves on the Big Lake!! We will definately return for another visit!"

  • Cute place

"We rented the cottage for two nights because we went to Gaylord to go snowmobiling. The cottage does have everything you need including pans, dishes, and paper supplies. I must say the cottage is well appointed. Everything is new and looks nice. The bathroom is spa-like. The room with the bunk beds is very small and hard to move around for an adult. My kids didn't end up sleeping in there because the heater was right by this room and it was loud. So this wouldn't be a problem in the summer time. I know that I knew up front but I didn't like having to clean up the place including washing the sheets and towels, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, etc. It is a lot to get done before you check out at 11:00. I would not have had enough time if I would have had to wash the bunk bed sheets too and if I didn't wash the towels the night before. The owner was fair and easy to work with."

  • Great place to get away from the downstate rat race.....

"Fun place - not too many places where you can be on a lake and not see anyone on the water. We had some great days of catch n release bass fishing. Floated the AuSable (only 15 minutes north - 3 hour float not one cabin). Sandy beaches on Lake Huron another day (about 40-45 minutes). Also had lots of BDB's (Back Deck Beers) on huge back deck. Saw a bald eagle perched on a tree overlooking the lake one day - (nice way to start the morning). Lake is clear (very few weeds) - fun for swimming and relaxing. The kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Board were a bonus. Interior of cabin is comfortable with a big kitchen and living room. Another bonus if coming from Detroit area is the drive is easy - a little less then 3 hours. I will be back."
