"This cottage is nestled back off the busy roads and gives you a real "up north" feel. It is centrally located on the lake with a boat launch less than a mile away. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well-equipped so don't feel like you need to bring your whole kitchen with you. But, do remember to bring your own bed linens and towels including hand towels for the bathroom, dish towels for the kitchen and a few rags for cleaning the chairs and table outside. The owner was very gracious and flexible. He made us feel at home and truly wanted us to relax and enjoy the cottage and all it has to offer. I would highly recommend the cottage and would stay there again."

"Wow. This place is amazing. The first thing I did when I walked in was text the owner asking him if he did the interior of this place. It is stunning. This was probably the cleanest cabin I've ever stayed in while using VRBO. A hop away from Gladwin. Fun little town. Lot's of dirt roads to burn down. haha. Fishing was a tad scarce. Mind you we got there right as a cold, cold front had just settled in for a few days. I'd say try your luck late at night or early in the morning. There are fish in there. Had a few try and hit my Fat Bomber "A" around 10:30pm. The neighbors next door are so so kind. Great people. We were almost out of fire wood and he brought over an armload and set it next to our fire. Now THAT is what I call kindness. (oh and they have great personalities too..just an FYI)
Thank you so much for letting us use your place for a few days. We really enjoyed it."

"Five friends and I spent the weekend in this beautiful chalet. The décor is adorable, the house in pristine condition. It was the perfect spot to accommodate six people comfortably.
We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and walking/running along the dirt roads. We put the hot tub to good use!
Everyone had a great time--the location was incredibly tranquil and provided a venue for fun and relaxation for an affordable price."

"The property is great for children. There is a yard and a play set for them to play on. Plenty room in the house.... More then we needed. We had four adults and four children. The property is on the lake and you do need to take stairs down to the lake but there was no problem with that. The kids were able to swim off the dock and the water in that area was not deep at all. One down fall is the location of fire pit. It is down by the lake and not much room for everyone to sit around. So when the kids were in bed, it was too far for the adults to hang out. The husbands loved the fishing which there are many different fish in the lake. They even caught many of them with the kids off the dock. Super close to the city. The yard is nicely kept up with trees and flowers and has nice shade for those hot days. We had a fantastic time!!!"
