  • Nice Little Cottage

"Everything we needed for the weekend except for food and clothing was in the cottage. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a waffle iron, and coffee maker. The bedrooms are small but adequate, and we used a fan which came with the cottage to keep the bedrooms cool at night when we slept. Towels and linens were provided with the cottage, so no need to bring along towels unless you want them for use on the beach. The property is adjacent to a canal which leads into Otsego Lake. The canal is suitable for boats, but not swimming. For swimming there is the county park with a beach nearby , as well as the state park and a public beach. Our deposit was returned a week after we vacated the cottage."

  • MId August Getaway

"What a great time to enjoy a very private beach front getaway. This our second year here, we truly love this place. The kids love the sandy beach out into Lake Huron, the freedom to roam, and safety of this our adopted yearly retreat! The neighbors, when you do happen to run into them, are very friendly and courteous. Absolutely breath taking sunrises over Lake Huron, from almost any room in the log home! The full kitchen, two full bathroom, and huge deck affords me the comfort of home away from home with only with my own beach. This place gives plenty of room for my family or for a multiple friend gathering. High stars ROB!"

  • Lovely Lake views, well layed out home, very cozy!

"What a perfect stay, everything was provided. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make our meals, (except groceries of course). The beds were comfy, even the sofa bed! The only draw backs were; we had no advance knowledge that the cottage would not be set-up for use and we would need to turn on well and hot water heater. The book telling us this was covered up by our groceries, so we had to wing it with no water, then no hot water until be figured it out, Then we found the book. it would have saved a lot if time and trouble if we would have known this in advance. The house was also quite sandy in the sun room and had to be swept prior to sleeping in there as it was gritty underfoot. The house was also dusty. We expected better cleaning since there was a cleaning fee. Other than these few things, it was a lovely time in Lewiston."

  • Cozy place

"Cute cozy cabin on a pretty lake. Very close to Mackinaw City, and the Headlands park (an international Dark Sky park). Nice sandy bottom lake. Small but serviceable kitchen. Dining room area has a good size table and plenty of room in the living room to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would suggest adding a notebook with instructions since I left mine at home, along with some menus of area eateries."
