  • Great Comfortable Family Cottage!!!

"The Flynn Family Cottage is an ideal place for a large family stay on Higgins Lake (or a smaller family). Actually, in our 30+ years going to Higgins, it is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. On this trip there were eight of us; my wife and me, two sons with their wives and two grandchildren. Everyone had a lot of room to move around in without bumping into one another. The cottage layout is great. The very large kitchen is separated from the living room. The living room is spacious with comfortable seating for everyone. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The highlights of this location include a long private entry road through the woods that gave it a north woods feel. The beach and fire pit are great. The lake at this point had a smooth sandy bottom and the grandkids (3 & 5) could walk out beyond the end of the dock and it would only be up to their chest. At night on the dock, the stars were magnificent and you could see the Milky Way. We had a great time and highly recommend the Flynn Family Cottage. We’re going back in 2016!!"

  • Lovely Home on the Lake!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend even though the weather did not cooperate! The home is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed, and I love to cook. An extra plus was the paddle boat and kayaks. We had lots of fun on those. We hope to return with our daughter and her family since there is lots of room for a big family. It would be perfect since there are basically two living spaces with the walkout basement and family room on the lower level. When we were there, the lake was very quiet, which provided for a peaceful, relaxing weekend! All-in-all, everything was great!!"

  • Wonderful lakefront cottage!!

"We just returned from our very relaxing trip to upper Michigan. This cabin is the most stocked, the cleanest, most inviting place we have ever stayed in! We were looking for quiet, peaceful, relaxing and we got it!! We rented a pontoon boat for two days and the bouys at the shared dock are very accommodating. The lake is marvelous! We actually met the president and treasurer of the Kings Point Resort and found them to be very friendly and informative. We shared several small bonfires with them. This could be a very lively place too. Would be great for families and kids. Lots of room to run and play. Basketball, volleyball, badminton, football, frisbee, boating, campfires, we even flew our kite off the back of our boat ;-)........All good clean fun. We will definitely be back soon!"

  • MId August Getaway

"What a great time to enjoy a very private beach front getaway. This our second year here, we truly love this place. The kids love the sandy beach out into Lake Huron, the freedom to roam, and safety of this our adopted yearly retreat! The neighbors, when you do happen to run into them, are very friendly and courteous. Absolutely breath taking sunrises over Lake Huron, from almost any room in the log home! The full kitchen, two full bathroom, and huge deck affords me the comfort of home away from home with only with my own beach. This place gives plenty of room for my family or for a multiple friend gathering. High stars ROB!"
