  • Presque Isle Vacation

"We had an amazing time at the North Bay Getaway. Cannot say enough about how clean and comfortable the home is. My sister and brother-in-law and my husband and I spend a week together in September (usually in the U.P.) We have always used VRBO to find a place to rent and North Bay has to be one of the best. The owner is one of the nicest people we have met on our travels. So accommodating and welcoming and full of good information about the area. We intend to return in 2015 (something we have never done before - we always move on to another area of Michigan. We just felt that there was so much more to see and do, so we will be returning."

  • Beach House on Lake Huron

"My husband and I and our 8 year old son spent a week there. The beach was great, perfect for young children... soft smooth sand. It was combed so there were no weeds which was very nice. The house was very clean and kitchen very well stocked. The neighbors made us feel very welcome. We had a few rain days, we enjoyed Tawas (about 20 min up the road) farmers markets in Au Gres, and a few visits to the Irish resturant, on us23. Great food! Thanks we hope to be back next summer!"

  • A Wonderful Week

"Our family of 4 adults and 1 11yr. old girl had a wonderful visit at the Lily Pad. The cottage itself is a lovely and well kept home with all the amenities including plenty of storage space which is unusual in most cottages. We lucked out with a beautiful weather week in the mid to high 70's and blue skies. We enjoyed kayaking and our attempts at fishing (we'll get them next time!). We visited Petoskey, Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island, and Cheboygan where we ate at a delicious restaurant, Pier 33 on the river. The meal at Legs Inn in Cross Village was great as well. The cottage location is so close to so many places and activities that I still have a list of things we did not have time to do or visit. Now, if we could just get rid of those pesky mosquitoes after sunset, we would know we were close to heaven."
