  • Just what we were looking for...

"I wanted to find a rental with a cottage feel, on a sandy beach, with some privacy, near a cool city for my husband andI...our 4 year old daughter and our TWO dogs! I had almost given up when I stumbled upon Betula! Thanks to a last minute cancelation, we were able to squeeze in a last minute get away. Even though the first few nights were a bit cold for July, we still got out in the water and made the best of it. Loved all the conveniences (washer/dryer, new grille, dishwasher)...only issue was with the vacuumn... may need to be replaced...but a broom did the trick. Water was so clear...stunning. Perfect! Reminded me of my cottage from childhood. Our dogs were so sad to leave..we all were. We definitely plan to return next summer! Thanks so much for sharing. :)"

  • Great location & setup

"This is in a perfect location in Glen Arbor. 2 min walk to lake or Art's Tavern and 5-7 minute walk to everything else you need in GA. The owners were very nice and everything was very clean. This place is perfect for a couple who stays active and also wants some privacy. We would go back in a heartbeat!"

  • Two weeks in God's country

"What a wonderful two weeks, we spent at least 5 nights at Esch Beach just watching the beautiful sunset's over Lake Michigan. Nice end to relaxing day. We spent time in Manistee seeing the harbor, eating lunch and looking thru so many Antique Shops. Then topped if off with the House of Flavors Icecream. If you haven't been to Glen Arbor, next time don't miss it. What a beautiful little town. If your hungry go to Art's and have a bacon cheese burger. You may have a wait, but is well worth it. Also the original Cherry Republic Store is there. A must stop, and a good place for Michigan gifts to take back home. We did something different every day and had a wonderful time. Sleeping Bear has to be my favorite place just for it's beauty, a must see. Knowing that every evening you could come back home to the cottage and feel right at home. Enjoy the hot tub or just sit out on the swing and listen to the pines, roast a few marshmallows, or challenge your mate to a game of pool. The Wayberry Cottage has it all and more. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. We try to make it up there every year just because it's the perfect place to go and relax."

  • A Treasure in the Woods

"Our family just returned from a 2 weeks stay at the Andrew's Log Cabin, and all of us agreed that it was a perfect place for a vacation. Their home is so well appointed and spacious, but homey, too. Although we were a crowd, there was ample space for all of us; with room to spare. The appeal was not only indoors, but outdoors as well. Manicured lawns, groves of birch trees, meadows, lots of hiking trails and a peaceful lake with fish....and loons!. Although Charlevoix , Petoskey and Lake Michigan were only a short distance away, there were many activities available right on the premises; enough for each one of us(ages 6-81). We all agreed that it was an ideal week, and that we would recommend it to our friends in a heartbeat! Thank you to the Andrews for sharing their home....it is a treasure!"
