"We had a wonderful week at Platte Lake Hi-Day-Way. We had plenty of room for the whole family in the house and it had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for playing games and the lake was perfect for our kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. The knee-deep water provided a ton of fun for the kids! The location of the house is wonderful to explore the area; Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Lake Michigan, etc. We enjoyed this beautiful retreat and we hope to visit again soon."

"This was our second vacation where all of our immediate family was able to attend (17 of us). What a great week we had, the home is exactly as advertised. Beautiful setting on the water, private, comfortable, relaxing, very clean and well furnished with all the amenities a large group needs. There were many places visited during our stay, including, Charlevoix, Traverse City, Elk Rapids, Mission Peninsula wine tour, Golf Courses etc. There was something to do or see for everyone. We had a perfect week including great weather, ending our summer vacation before the older grandchildren set off for college and the younger ones off to middle school. The entire family felt it was the best vacation they ever had and are looking forward to a repeat performance in the future (perhaps 2017). Paddle boards and kayaks were in use almost every day. Each family was able to prepare great evening meals with everyone sharing in the work. Job stress was certainly relieved as the working adults relaxed more and more each day. Enjoyed Pearls restaurant in Elk Rapids and the Jolly Pumpkin on the Mission Peninsula. Stores were near by to purchase anything we needed. Again, this certainly was a great family vacation and we can't wait to repeat the experience in the future. Thanks to Denise Donaldson for sharing her lovely home. Joe & Libby P & Family"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. It's was very clean and everything we needed. We enjoyed coming home at night to the cottage instead of a hotel. There were two beds on the porch you could sleep out there and watch the sunrise on the Lake, it was gorgeous! Beautiful place, we will be back again."

"My family and I recently stayed a week at the Creekside guest house. The house itself is in a private setting with beautiful trees, landscaping and a creek. The inside of the house was impeccably clean and had comfortable, casual furnishings. There were plenty of towels/linens and the kitchen had everything necessary for preparing meals. We found the location to be perfect for our daily outings as it was close to both Sleeping Bear Dunes (about 20 minutes West) and Traverse City (about 30 minutes East). The surrounding area is beautiful and there are plenty of family activities: hiking, biking, swimming, and the Dune Climb, just to name a few. There are lots of restaurants in the area to choose from after a day of fun. We had muffins from Market 22, English and Indian cuisine at the Little Traverse Inn, and delicious breakfast and lunch at Pegtown Station. In Traverse City, a little cafe called Spanglish serves amazing tacos and tamales. This was our first time visiting Michigan and I know we will be back. Simply put, Creekside is a wonderful place to stay on vacation, we would definitely stay here again."
