  • JUST PERFECT!!

"We were bringing our child to camp at the Interlochen School for the Arts and we found out about this cottage right nearby. Its less than 10 minutes away. Traverse City is a 15 drive. The cottage comes as advertised, its a rustic cottage right on Green Lake with a great deck to barbecue and watch the sunset. It's a quiet setting. Bring your own kayak and bike. (You can rent kayaks nearby, but we did not.) We found the home clean and well maintained for an older cottage. The place was perfect for relaxation. We didn't even turn on the 55" TV! Buds is the place to eat for a nice breakfast or lunch. Enjoy...relax and sleep well."

  • Arcadia vacation

"Perfect rental home: clean, well-provisioned, spacious, comfortable rental property. No suprises, the location is accurate (we walked to the beach every day) and the photos are a true likeness of the rooms in the house. All the beds were very comfortable (no V dipping in the middle!) and the kitchen was very easy to work in. We were there in July so there was much more sunlight in the rooms than seen in the photos which was appreciated. We also really appreciated the mud-room, the large entrance room at the back of the house (not pictured) for leaving everything which was covered in sand. The questions posed to the owner were promptly answered, she was always available, friendly and polite. The Dunes, Leelanau wineries, the Franfort ligthouse, Beulah were all within easy driving distance of the rental. The easy distance to Lake Michigan meant we were able to really enjoy the lake - okay, it was july, so the water temperature was more than just bearable. The IGA grocery store in Frankfort was a godsend, well supplied with fresh meat, fruit and vegetables. And much better priced and supplied than the IGA in Onekema. If ever we are in this neck of the woods again, we would definitely book a stay here."

  • Amazing!

"I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We just returned from a 3 day stay, and we are already planning a return visit! The owners were great to work with. They provided great comminication both before and during our visit. The house was immaculate. Everything was newly updated and beautifully decorated. The view was inctedible! It was so relaxing to sit out on the back deck and take it all in. We cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for an up north getaway, this is your place!"

  • Lovely Home

"What a lovely home! The house itself is great - even better than the pictures. It's decorated beautifully, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The little beach areas were perfect for our granddaughter, and the deck was wonderful. Such a lovely, quiet spot - can't wait to come back!"
