"This is the second time in five years that my family and I have stayed at this beautiful home in the peaceful environs of Lake Charlevoix, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future. The home is exactly as pictured and offers a comfortable and spacious location for family get-togethers and summer fun and relaxation. The owners are very diligent about maintenance and are a pleasure to work with. There is plenty to do in the area, from utlilizing the property's three kayaks at the nearby beach to taking the short jaunt into nearby Charlevoix, Boyne City, and Petoskey for sightseeing and other fun. Lake Charlevoix is a beauty! Try renting a pontoon boat for an afternoon of special delights! You can dine in at the well-equipped home or try one of the many nice restaurants in any of these cities. There is golf, jet skiing, shopping, sunset watching, and more to keep everyone entertained. There are public beaches at both Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix that young and old will enjoy. And after a day of busy exercise, the big couch is a comfy spot for the whole family to relax on while watching a movie together. For a lovely up-north trip, this home is a great option!"

"This home is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. We spent one week here and loved every minute of it. The home is comfortable, charming and includes everything you need for everyday life. As soon as I walked in I immediately felt "at home"...like walking into Grandmas house. We enjoyed the nearby beach, the library and all the shops and restaurants. Our adult kids loved walking to the brewery for drinks and night time entertainment. And we all had a lot of laughs and fun at Tucker's for bowling. All within an easy walk from the house. In the mornings we would walk to Barbs Bakery for cinammon twists. What more could we ask for? Well, the Farmers Market was fabulous and to top it off we saw Mario Batali ! We also did a side trip to the Sleeping Bear Dunes , the scenery is truly spectacular. I hope that we will be able to return to this home for many future vacations and would like to thank the owner, Marcia Boynton, for sharing her special place with others."

"We stayed in this clean, cozy condo for a week in July. The location can't be beat, with Ferry Beach, Kelsey's and Downtown Charlevoix all within walking distance. The condo was very well appointed, with many things not usually provided like coffee filters, foil and lots of towels. The owner was great to work with, I called her to request a couple of kitchen items, and they were outside the door within an hour!! The complex has a nice pool and clubhouse/shower facility which came in handy, with 4 people trying to get ready with 1 bathroom. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation and I would recommend this condo for a fun, relaxing, family friendly get-away."

"We stayed here on Labor Day weekend, the cabin was perfect for our family of 4. It was simple yet sufficient for our family, if you are looking for something extravagant this is not the place for you. The location was absolutely amazing the area is one of the most pristine and beautiful I have been to in Northern Michigan (this was not our first time in the region), one thing that stood out the most for me is that we did not need to get into the car to go to the dunes, the Heritage Bike Trail is literally across the street and the main Dune Climb is a short bike/walk. The bike ride to Glen Arbor was about 4 miles and we stopped at Glen Haven about half way and watched a blacksmith make a coat hook and looked at some old boats, there is also a Lk Mich Beach there. Our boys and I loved fishing in the crystal clear Little Glen and just relaxing on the shore. If you like craft beer there is no brewery but go to Art's Tavern, Short's makes a beer specifically for them.
A larger beach area would have been nice, some of the brush growth could be cleared out from either side to enhance the view of the lake and enlarge the beach area, and have the beach area more maintained lots of reeds growing on it. Also, linens would've been nice but weren't a deal breaker."
