  • Wonderful vacation home for weekend with family!

"We had a wonderful stay at this home for a long weekend for a family wedding. The house has a great layout ideal for entertaining, visiting and perfect for groups. The bedrooms were large and there were plenty of bathrooms. It was a short walk to downtown Charlevoix and in a great location. A perfect house for our weekend with multiple families (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) all under one roof! The new renovations to the home were very well done!"

  • Clean, Quiet & Comfortable

"My husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandson and I recently spent a delightful week at Burns Street Cottage. The cottage is just as it appears in the pictures-spacious and clean. The backyard is very pretty with perennials, a picnic table, and a nice fire pit. The owner was prompt in answering our queries, available if needed, and also prompt in returning our damage deposit. The cottage is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of both downtown and Depot Beach on Lake Charlevoix. We also drove about 2 miles to the McSauba recreation area where there are nature trails, dunes and a beach on Lake Michigan (no lifeguard, lightly populated). It’s also easy to bicycle to the Little Traverse Wheelway trail which runs between Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. My husband and I biked to and from Petoskey one day – 36 miles in all on an awesome trail. Among its offerings, we enjoyed Charlevoix’s wonderful library, interesting “mushroom houses”, good restaurants, and friendly people. We can definitely recommend both visiting the town and staying at this cottage."

  • Would Return Again

"Our visit to Charlevoix (my first) exceeded our expectations. The town and surrounding locations suggest a return is needed in the near future. Our vacation rental more then fit our group of 7, and all the amenities were in working order. Noteworthy, a mishap beyond the owner's control required her attention upon our arrival. I was more then pleased how quickly she responded to remedy the situation, so as not to adversly affect our visit. I would recommend this lodging to anyone considering Charlevoix."

  • Delightful lake escape

"The house is spacious, especially the master suite and common areas. The kitchen is particularly well equipped. There are multiple comfortable sleeping areas. The waterside area has a marvelous cabana and beach, fire pits, and dock. The south arm of Lake Charlevoix is great for water sports and it's a short drive to Charlevoix."
