  • Great place to stay in Charlevoix

"This was our first time in Charelvoix, and we really enjoyed this rental home. It's location was great: easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The pluses: the bathrooms had been recently updated and were in great condition, and the two larger bedrooms were nicely appointed. Our only regret was that there were not more window coverings on the bedroom windows - it was hard to sleep in with the early summer sunrise. The property was clean and well maintained, and the owners were very helpful answering all of our questions prior to arrival. We happened to be there the weekend the nearby library was having a book fair, and we loved getting a chance to see the space. Easy trip to Petoskey or Mackinac Island for sight-seeing."

  • Charming Charlevoix rental

"We had an amazing time in beautiful Charlevoix while staying at this charming cottage! The place was beautifully decorated, immaculately maintained, and very well-appointed. The neighborhood is charming and friendly. Though the cottage is small, it is open and airy and there was plenty of space for us, our children (age 11 and 13) and my mother. Our kids slept in the pull-out sofa in the den and felt the bed was comfortable and the TV in the room, a bonus. The patio was a great place to relax and converse and even has a fire pit, which we took advantage of for a couple of the cooler evenings. We cooked in for most meals and found the kitchen to be well-stocked with everything we needed. The rental is short walking distance to shopping, marinas, beach, restaurants. There is much to do in the greater area that is driving distance as well. We certainly recommend this fabulous cottage and would go back in a heartbeat!"

  • Barb, Joe, Bonnie and Art

"Our stay in Charlevoix was delightful. Along with fantastic weather we had the opportunity to stay in this lovely cottage in Pine Lakes. The cottage was well-maintained and had many nice extras-new gas grill, patio fronting the lake, fire pit and was nicely furnished. We were able to enjoy the beach, ride our bikes on the quiet roads within the community, enjoy sunsets and all the peace and tranquility the area offered. It was a wonderful way to celebrate with my sister and her husband their 41st wedding anniversary as well as our 46th. We are hoping to have the opportunity to return next year around the same time."

  • Stayed for our wedding--will definitely come back

"This place was amazing! It was very secluded (you need to go on dirt roads to find it), but it was well worth it. While we stayed, the weather was cold and rainy, but that didn't stop us from really enjoying the place. We had our family there for our rehearsal dinner the night before. We set up cornhole (or bags) and had a mini tournament with that. We had a bonfire and cooked s'mores that night before the rain came. The day of our wedding, all the girls got ready at the house. It was so spacious and easy to accommodate all the women in the wedding. It was really great to have everyone in one place. The house was so cozy and the people who own the home were so easy to talk to. We had never really been up in the area before, and she helped us by giving advice on what to do, what other hotels were in the area (for our other guests), etc. It was just a lovely experience. We are definitely going to try to make this a yearly trip and we hope to be able to stay at this house year after year."
