  • Wonderful house, fabulous porch, lovely owner, perfect town

"We've spent time in Charlevoix the Beautiful our whole lives and have rented many different houses. This house is in a great walk-to-town location and has a huge front porch where we linger over coffee for hours. There's tons of room to house an extended family. The owner is a lovely person who truly cares about her guests enjoying the home and there are games and puzzles if the weather requires an inside day. The local manager is very responsive to all requests and needs. We love our days in this house and this town. With fresh-caught fish from Cross Fisheries and local fruits and vegetables (especially the corn and raspberries) from Kiteley's farm, we are amazed at the how the days fly by. It's great to have a gas barbecue in the yard and nice to have a spacious, equipped kitchen. With the walking distance beaches and shops, it's the ultimate relaxing vacation spot. I highly recommend Corbin Manor and Charlevoix!"

  • Awesome House on Lake Michigan

"The pictures do not do this place justice! The rooms are huge, the deck is amazing and the views are fantastic. We spent every night sitting outside watching the sun set. It was also really cool to have access to the kayaks. We paddled out a ways and took in the crystal clear Lake Michigan water. We are looking forward to coming back!"

  • Love, Love, LOVE This Place!

"Did I mention that we love this place?! You must rent this house. Seriously. It is adorable, clean, comfy, quiet, and remote yet still in easy driving distance to all of the local towns and sights. You can take a quick walk across the quiet and rarely traveled road to the beach, or take an early morning and late evening stroll down the tree lined street to the park. Christina was so easy to work with and so nice, she is very responsive and answers any and all questions in a flash. We just got home a few days ago and we already received our refund for our deposit. WOW! We cannot wait to come back again next year!!"

  • Had a beautiful vacation!

"We have rented several lakefront homes/cottages, and this was truly our favorite! The house was clean and comfortable - nice furniture and new carpeting. Plenty of room for us and our 4 kids, but may have been a little crowded with 8 or more if you get a couple days of rain. Two TV's with movies and video games to kept the kids happy in the evenings and on rainy days - we didn't hear "I'm bored" once. The nearby nature trails allowed the older kids freedom to explore and have some time to themselves. The house had everything we needed - beach toys for the younger kids, kitchen utensils and flatware, lawn chairs, and two refrigerators eliminated the need for repeated trips to the store. It's obvious that the owners put a lot of effort into making sure we had everything - right down to the beach towels and the spare LP tank for the grill. The location was perfect - 15 minutes to either Charlevoix or Boyne City, and perfect distance for a day trip to Mackinac Island or Traverse city. The lake is big enough that we didn't hear the constant droning of jet-ski's typical of smaller lakes. If you have one, definitely bring your boat! Shoppers' docks at Charlevoix, and public slips at Boyne City allowed us to do most everything we needed to do from the water, without the need to deal with peak season traffic and parking. Plus so many other things to see and do on the boat - Lake Michigan, Oyster Bay, waterfront dining, sunsets - you can spend the entire week on the water. The neighbors were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. On our day of departure we had to pack up and hurry off ahead of an approaching storm, so we never had a chance to thank them, but they truly made the difference."
