  • Girls Weekend....

"There were 11 women that invaded this house and we all loved it. There is no place that is perfect and this is no exception. But we loved it. Suzanne is so easy to work with and that made the experience so much more positive. Even when the tanks had to be pumped, we all took it in stride. Would I rent this cottage again, you bet I would. I love this area and have rented from different owners. This was by far the best I have rented."

  • Mountain Side Vacation Rentals - Excellent Units and Service for UNVI

"I have rented multiple units from this company for the past four years and I would recommend it highly to anyone looking to rent in the northern Michigan area. The condos are well appointed, spacious and always well maintained. The service is exemplary. Rent from this company - you won't regret it!"

  • Great spot for nature lovers and their hyper dogs!

"My husband and I (early 30’s) weren't sure as we pulled in (the treehouse is a guest house over the garage, with the owners living about 200 feet away). Was this the beginning of a horror movie? Turn out, our stay turned out to be absolutely wonderful. Tom and Kathy have the perfect personalities for making you feel comfortable and at home, and we couldn’t have had a better location for enjoying all at the Leelanau Peninsula has to offer. Other than this rental and rustic camping up at the state park, there really are no other lodging options in the area, and we got full access to incredible beaches and hiking trails with virtually NO crowds. We felt like staying at the treehouse was a unique take on deluxe camping – an awesome deck with bird watching and star gazing, but with the comfort of a fantastic king-size bed and a kitchen stocked with tin foil, olive oil, coffee, the works. Most importantly, this place is AMAZING if you have an energetic dog who loves to explore woods. With the gated deck and acres and acres of property, you couldn’t ask for a place to stay with a dog. We walked her (off-leash) around their property when she wasn’t already exhausted from hiking through sand dunes or cruising the downtowns of Northport and Sutton’s Bay, and it was ideal to say the least. (Usually getaways are a special treat for the humans, but this place is also a glorious vacation for a well-behaved dog with extra energy!) Bottom line: Diamond in the rough. This place is high-demand due to repeat visitors, so book early (like, 8-10 months in advance) and it’ll be worth your while. As long as you are prepared for semi-rustic (even change your own sheets afterwards in lieu of a cleaning fee if you want) and willing to sacrifice a little privacy in having Tom and Kathy and their Jack-Russell terrier close by, it really is a great gig. Nothing like it (or even close) in the area!"

  • Great Getaway

"The rental was great! Pictures were exact to cottage, very clean and well maintained. Owner was very helpful with all my questions. The kids loved the loft and the beach. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking in the Charlevoix area. Lots to do and see in the area."
