"I spent a week relaxing and "retreating" following an extremely busy year of work and study. My daughters joined me for a couple of days but most of the time was spent quietly enjoying the beauty of this area and this lovely spot. My pups loved the kayak. They're both small dogs and I'd take them with me in one of the kayaks that was supplied with the property. The little beach is great and the water is so clear! Waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck as my favorite morning starter. The clear railing was such a great idea and allowed for an unobstructed view of life and sunsets on Hanley Lake. My favorite sound was the loons calling to each other. The owners are so accommodating and the house is stocked with everything one would need. Grass River Recreational Area provided a great area for hiking. Bellaire is so close and we enjoyed Short's Brewery and a couple of other eateries. The Village Market has everything you could need including a great wine and beer selection. I even participated in a painting class at the local pottery spot (Central Lake) taught by the new high school art teacher - so much fun! This is a great place for a family or couples getaway, or for a single just needing a retreat!"

"My family spent a week at the Bearberry House and couldn't be happier with our stay. The home is beautiful, fully equipped, located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the area and was so comfortable. We had 8 adults and 4 children and we had so much fun playing games, cooking, sightseeing and exploring the area. Our greatest accomplishment was climbing Sleeping Bear Dunes! This part of Michigan is gorgeous and clean. There are so many things to see and do but it doesn't feel "touristy". The flowers around Glen Arbor were blooming and so many varieties! The grandchildren loved seeing the wildlife including black squirrels, deer and even a porcupine! The owners were so accommodating and gracious. Be sure to take the Sleeping Bear scenic drive and try to climb it (if you dare)! We also visited a lighthouse and Fish Town and had a wonderful time there. We would love to come back some day and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else."

"This condominium is in a great location. It is right off the slopes for easy ski-in/ski-out access. The place is appointed with all the things you need for a relaxing stay. The homeowners were so easy to work with and attentive to every detail. Our yearly Boyne trip was once again a success!"
