"We spent our first family vacation in Michigan at this property. The owners are very helpful and the house was very clean and well-kept. The 60 acres of land was a favorite with the kids. They would look forward to coming "home" and hiking around the property after our busy days of sightseeing. They especially liked the pond with the frogs. The kitchen is well-stocked and the house had everything a family of six could need. Unlike other vacation homes we have rented that had a locked room or closet that was off-limits to renters, this home was completely available to the renters and helped make everything feel more inviting. We went for a run to the lake and back and that was about 3 miles. The view of the lake from the house was very nice. If we ever plan another Michigan vacation we would stay here again!"Guest: djojmis Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 28, 2014View listing
"My family and I spent a week in this beautiful home and considered it our best vacation ever. The home was clean and fresh and the surrounding area is stunning. The owners were accommodating and easy to work with from the initial contact through to our departure. The view of Lake Michigan from the house, both inside and outside, is incredible! We felt very much at home and hated to leave, but we left rested and full of great memories."Guest: Phil Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 7, 2014View listing
"This house is very special. The family's love of the place is seen and felt through the wonderful art and craft that is everywhere throughout the house. It is a home that welcomes you. And then there is the location. You are of Lake Michigan every moment of your stay as you hear its waves continually greet you. The changing water is mesmerizing and you want to stay forever listening to its secrets. Thank you for sharing Agamiing Minwendam."Guest: Anne Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 21, 2014View listing
"This is our second stay at Sommerset. This time we arranged our wedding to be in Cross Village because we love the area and the cottage so much. It is very clean, comfortable, quiet and even when it was cold out the scenery was beautiful. We will be back."Guest: Kristen D.
