"Perfect! Cozy! Clean and all you need. Lovely area and close to anything you might want to do on Leelanau Peninsula. We are particularly infatuated with Suttons Bay, so it was a great place to spend a week with our 4-legged "baby!""

"I wanted to find a rental with a cottage feel, on a sandy beach, with some privacy, near a cool city for my husband andI...our 4 year old daughter and our TWO dogs! I had almost given up when I stumbled upon Betula! Thanks to a last minute cancelation, we were able to squeeze in a last minute get away. Even though the first few nights were a bit cold for July, we still got out in the water and made the best of it. Loved all the conveniences (washer/dryer, new grille, dishwasher)...only issue was with the vacuumn... may need to be replaced...but a broom did the trick. Water was so clear...stunning. Perfect! Reminded me of my cottage from childhood. Our dogs were so sad to leave..we all were. We definitely plan to return next summer! Thanks so much for sharing. :)"

"My family has stayed at this cottage twice and are planning to go back again. The owners know alot about the area, and are always happy to chat and help with any needs. Three features that make this cottage a prime place to stay are 1) The cottage itself: comfortable, fully furnished, and has enough space to relax or play with your children, 2) Location within town: We could see the beach, marina, and were only a few steps from restaurants, shops, church, and a inexpensive movie rental shop, 3) Location on the penninsula: It doesn't get any better than Sutton's Bay for access to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leeland, all the parks and hiking around Leelenau, and easy access to the wine (and cider) country."

"My family was blessed to have found such wonderful people to open their home to us, especially on such sort notice. Not only were they very welcoming, but they made sure we felt at home. The cottage was perfect! We loved how secluded and peaceful it was and spent a majority of our time sitting on the deck looking out over the water while our kids played in the yard. Wish I could have done some fishing while we were there but the time we had was limited so it will have to wait for another time. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone so we weren't tripping all over one another. I will be recommending Bass Lake Retreat to my friends and family for sure! Thanks for the memories!!"
