  • Huge Lake and Great Location

"The lake is nearly 2000 acres and had no other boating traffic (Even on the Weekend!). We enjoyed the walk out shoreline and having the state park close by we were able to use the sandy beach with our small children. The cottage was in close proximity to the sand dunes and downtown Travers City which was nice to go to for shopping and fine dinning."

  • Perfect Lake Vacation

"The condo was perfect for a relaxed group-vacation getaway. The condo is well-equipped for a group (we were 8 adults in town for a wedding) and there was plenty of space to get ready, hang out, cook meals, etc. We especially appreciated the three bathrooms and two floors - just in terms of coordinating group outings. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics you'd need to feed 8 hungry people, and the beach supplies made it so easy just to run down for an hour or two in the morning. We loved that the space was set up for use (not just for looks, but it was also pretty cute), so that we could really just relax. I will also note (and the owner did make sure I realized!) that two of the bedrooms have twin/trundle beds - this was actually a "plus" for our mixed group of singles/couples! The development was full of families and other groups of adults. Everyone we encountered was very nice and respectful - people seemed to be there to relax and have fun, but we had no issues with noise at all. The location was a 2-minute drive to the grocery store and some cute bars/restaurants, and very close to the famous dunes as well. As other commenters noted, the location and the view are lovely! We spent our days on the beach before wedding errands and our evenings drinking wine on the balcony. Lake Michigan is beautiful - clear water, sandy beaches, even a sailboat or two. The owner was very easy to communicate with and very nice about answering questions. Thank you so much for the great vacation!!! If I'm lucky enough to be back in Glen Arbor, I would love to stay again :)"

  • Fun & relaxation!

"Three generations just enjoyed a weeks stay at this beautiful home. We stayed with our daughter, sin-in-law, 2 year old & 10 month old granddaughters & our youngest daughter. We enjoyed the large living space, bedrooms were roomy enough for all. My husband enjoyed showing our 2 year old granddaughter the art of fishing. She was casting & reeling in her little sun fish. Grandpa says she's a born natural. Enjoyed the nice kitchen as it gets old having to eat out day after day. Lots of room inside for the baby to crawl about. Nice spacious deck out back. Hubby enjoyed his meals out there. A couple of us took advantage of the hot tub a few times. The pontoon paddle boat was fun for those choosing to use it. The two year old enjoyed walking in the water. Very shallow, making it great for little kids to splash & play. Saw a lot of wildlife: turtles, frogs, snakes, rabbits, ducks, geese, woodpeckers and the biggest crows I've ever seen. An all around good time for all ages."

  • Perfect for our trip - I would recommend for both summer or ski vacations.

"This spacious condo was perfect for our trip. The location is convenient for walking to restaurants/shopping. There is a very popular eatery right next door and popular for good reason--it was excellent. The master bedroom is quiet and comfortable. We appreciated having a full kitchen, nice appliances, and plenty of seating in the breakfast bar and at the dining table as we had family staying in town too--and gathered at the condo to make breakfast/etc. Although I prefer having some outdoor seating/patio, this wasn't a problem due to it being so close to everything. The beach is just down the street--very short walk. This place worked out well for this trip--I would rent it again or one of the owner's other properties."
