  • Front Porch Perfection

"The front porch was by far our favorite feature of the fabulous Shore Cabin! It is a great place to eat breakfast in the morning or dinner in the evening enjoying the sunset. Screened in so no bugs allowed! We were impressed from the moment we pulled in the driveway. It is exactly as advertised. VERY CLEAN. Has everything you need in the kitchen. Private beach access was excellent. We walked down to the beach every day and only saw 6 people the entire week. Everything you need for the beach was right there. No need to pack up chairs, umbrellas or toys for the kids. Ideal location right on M119. Enjoyed watching the bicyclists ride the tunnel of trees from the front porch. Close enough to town to pick up anything you may have forgotten, but far enough away to enjoy some solitude. Pet friendly for sure! Plenty of property around the cabin and an amazing opportunity to play in the water. The owner's were outstanding hosts. Timely and thorough communication throughout the entire process. Made sure we knew how to reach them if we needed anything. Stay at Shore Cabin you will not be disappointed!"

  • Beautiful, Quiet, Peaceful, and Serene

"We loved this cabin and our stay. We brought our 18 month old for the week, and really was just perfect. My husband took advantage of the kayaks and the peaceful lake, we read on the deck while the baby napped, and we spent our evenings grilling and enjoying the peace and quiet. This cabin is just close enough to everything - Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, all of the cute towns and lighthouses, but just far enough away to feel secluded and in nature. It's got all of the amenities needed (a washer and dryer would have been nice, but otherwise, this place has it all). We drove 13 hours for this cabin, and it was well worth it! Highly recommend this home for anyone who wants to be "one with nature" while still enjoying all the comforts of home."

  • Fantastic week

"Spent a week at "Always" with friends and family. Home had everything we needed and was very accommodating for all four of the young children. Greatly enjoyed the pontoon, paddle boat, and kayaks! All of the fishershermen (experienced and novice) were successful in landing a few nice fish. Highly recommend taking the kayaks to Mud Lake and casting a worm into the lily pads. When not enjoying Lake Ann we ventured into Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Frankfort and Sleeping Bear dunes. The location was perfect! Thank you Jeff for making the process easy and inviting."
