  • Beautiful beach and centrally located

"We stayed here in July of this year (with 2 little ones) and the setting was really breathtaking. The condo was clean and the owners were welcoming, helpful and responsive. Beach was a few steps away from condo. In mornings we were greeted by deer right outside door. Because water was a little cold this summer, we took advantage of all of the wonderful sights and things to do within 15 minutes of Glen Arbor - wineries, the Dunes, Leland fishing village, the Manitou Islands... Truly a great family vacation. Will definitely come back."

  • Fun Family Fall Getaway

"We are a family of 6 with four young children (8, 7, 3 & 2). This was our first family trip to Michigan and it didn't disappoint. We arrived late at Surf Song but the owner was there to greet us warmly, show us throughout the home and point out where we could find anything we may need. The house truly had everything we could want from board games to supplies for cookouts on the beach and more. We were close to everything at Surf Song, but also secluded on our own private road with few homes nearby. The view from the home was amazing and we couldn't get enough of it. The owner also had a couple books with information on nearby restaurants, shopping and attractions that made planning our days so much easier. We explored Sleeping Bear Dunes, Fishtown, Lake Leelanau State Park and its lighthouse and many other local attractions. There's so much to do in the area, we hope to return and stay at Surf Song for a summer break in a few years."

  • Lake Michigan gem with gorgeous views

"We have been going to the Homestead since the mid-1980’s and have rented many different condos in various locations. The fact that we have rented this condo four times says it all. It is perfect. The first thing that strikes you when you enter is the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan through the wall of windows in the living and dining rooms. Then you notice how beautifully but comfortably the rooms are decorated. You feel as if you are in someone’s home. The kitchen is fully equipped and lacks for nothing. Everything is immaculate, clean and in good repair, including the washer and dryer. The owners really take pride in the appearance and condition of the condo. Clearly they want their guests to have a pleasant experience and they do whatever they can to ensure that. As lovely as the condo is, there is so much to do in the area that one does not spend much time there in the summer. The gorgeous white sand beach and Lake Michigan (no salt, no sharks) are perhaps 100 feet from the condo. The town of Glen Arbor is a short drive or a 15 minute walk. There one finds shops, restaurants, a grocery and hardware store, bike and kayak rental outfits and 4 well maintained public tennis courts. Two of our favorite activities are first, a leisurely float down the Crystal River in a kayak and second, a 15 mile ride on the new bike path that runs through the sand dunes and forests almost to the town of Empire. There is also lots to explore on the Leelanau Peninsula as well as in Traverse City, a 45 minute drive away. If you come to the Glen Arbor area you will no doubt have a wonderful time but if you stay in this gem of a condo it will be special."

  • A wonderful winter weekend at Cabin On the Creek near beautiful Glen Arbor, Mi.

"We had a wonderful, winter, siblings weekend with the six of us adults. The cabin was delightful, cozy, clean, and especially well furnished and equipped. We had lots of fun hiking in the snow near Pyramid Point, and Good Harbor Bay.We cooked most of our meals in, in the beautiful ,well equipped kitchen. We saw deer come down to the creek to drink each day. We will certainly come back, this is the nicest place we have ever stayed!"
