"Property had lots of room for our Father's Birthday celebration with 26 adults. Having the addtional ovens, and refrigerators helped when feeding such a large group. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of plates and silverware. Large yard with flat areas made it possible to play games, or escape to read in a chair near the lake. There are two aluminum fishing boats on sight, as well as two kayaks. The two cottages reminded us of old cabins we use to stay in as kids. We were however, greeted by marching ants in the lower level of the main house, as well as some mice activity at night in the basement ceiling. We used ant spray that had been left, along with the mouse traps that were in the house to remedy the situation. Lower level of basement is very musty, so owner needs to invest in a dehumidifier that works. There is a large dumpster near the parking area that was very handy, but make sure you bring your own trash bags. Location was the best on the lake for the 4July fireworks. Fishing was fun catching large bluegill and bass. All in all, we had a great stay, and have many wonderful memories."

"This cottage exceeded expectations. It was so clean and tastefully decorated. Deb, I didn’t get a chance to ask if you were an interior decorator. If not, you could be. Even though the cottage is pretty far off the well beaten path, Deb’s directions were so precise we didn’t have any problem finding it -- thanks! We were there primarily to fish and the day we launched the boat a strong storm was forecasted for that evening. Mark was kind enough to show us the best way to tie up our boat to weather out that storm. Even though it was colder than normal for that time of year and there were several rainy days we managed to get in some good fishing time. A nice plus was the abundance of outdoor tables and chairs and the fire pit was so inviting but we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of it - maybe next time. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts."

"This was one of the best vacations that we've ever had! The location of this home is perfect. Close to everything. The Ludington State Park and town are within minutes of this place. There is a public park with a boat launch just down the road. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the neighborhood. It's very peaceful. This home has everything you need. Comfortable beds, cable and wifi for those days when it's raining, a gas grill and a wonderful screened garage. This home is not only comfortable but also extremely clean. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We go to Ludington every year and this was the best place we ever stayed at! You won't be disappointed!"

"If you are looking for a nice, quiet house on a beautiful lake, this is the place to stay. The amenities are great. Our favorite spot was the bonfire pit. The bunkhouse is very new and would be a perfect place for children. Can definitely fit a large group between the main house and bunkhouse. Hope to end up back there down the road!"
