"Oh my gosh.....just what the DR ordered! This was the perfect answer to getting away from the chaos of the city and busy work life. A drive down a tree lined road...away from all our cares...into the woods...and alas we see the lake. Adorably decorated and super clean cottage sits right next to the lake. Comfortable bed, kind and friendly owners, wildlife (deer, all kinds of birds) grill...if you're looking for an escape..this is it...great breeze off the lake ....little to no need for the air conditioner to be running. This is not the place for the high-maintenance types but it's perfect for those wishing to get away that can enjoy the beauty of the great North."

"This was one of the best vacations that we've ever had! The location of this home is perfect. Close to everything. The Ludington State Park and town are within minutes of this place. There is a public park with a boat launch just down the road. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the neighborhood. It's very peaceful. This home has everything you need. Comfortable beds, cable and wifi for those days when it's raining, a gas grill and a wonderful screened garage. This home is not only comfortable but also extremely clean. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We go to Ludington every year and this was the best place we ever stayed at! You won't be disappointed!"

"This cottage exceeded expectations. It was so clean and tastefully decorated. Deb, I didn’t get a chance to ask if you were an interior decorator. If not, you could be. Even though the cottage is pretty far off the well beaten path, Deb’s directions were so precise we didn’t have any problem finding it -- thanks! We were there primarily to fish and the day we launched the boat a strong storm was forecasted for that evening. Mark was kind enough to show us the best way to tie up our boat to weather out that storm. Even though it was colder than normal for that time of year and there were several rainy days we managed to get in some good fishing time. A nice plus was the abundance of outdoor tables and chairs and the fire pit was so inviting but we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of it - maybe next time. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts."

"This is the first time that our whole family stayed together for one week in a vacation rental. We had a great time.
The bonfire pit, room to play volley ball, renting a pontoon for a week, taking in all the wonderful things you can do(tubing, sleeping bear dunes, barbecuing on the wonderful big new grill, and sitting on the big porch being able to take in all the beautiful views)was wonderful. The kitchen had everything needed to make a great meal. All the tables on the porch made it is for us to eat all together.
There were 11 of us. The teenagers (16 through 19) stayed in the bunk house. They thought this was really cool. The adults stayed in the main house. Our only problem was the sleeping arrangements. There was room for five adults but there was six of us. We blew up a air mattress and slept on the floor. It would be nice if there was a pull down couch that turned into a double bed."
