  • Second time Around at East Bay Beach Front Home

"We had a delightful return trip to this quiet, secluded Northern Michigan home. We stayed a week longer than last time & enjoyed more time down at the shoreline & beach area, sight seeing in nearby towns & of course, playing lots of golf. This home is in excellent condition & the owners are accessible if need be. Our weather was good so we were able to grill outdoors & dine "al fresco" at a few restaurants nearby. 5 stars & hats off once again to this great escape location - we appreciate the opportunity to rent such a piece of "Pure Michigan" paradise!!"

  • Clean, Quiet & Comfortable

"My husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandson and I recently spent a delightful week at Burns Street Cottage. The cottage is just as it appears in the pictures-spacious and clean. The backyard is very pretty with perennials, a picnic table, and a nice fire pit. The owner was prompt in answering our queries, available if needed, and also prompt in returning our damage deposit. The cottage is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of both downtown and Depot Beach on Lake Charlevoix. We also drove about 2 miles to the McSauba recreation area where there are nature trails, dunes and a beach on Lake Michigan (no lifeguard, lightly populated). It’s also easy to bicycle to the Little Traverse Wheelway trail which runs between Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. My husband and I biked to and from Petoskey one day – 36 miles in all on an awesome trail. Among its offerings, we enjoyed Charlevoix’s wonderful library, interesting “mushroom houses”, good restaurants, and friendly people. We can definitely recommend both visiting the town and staying at this cottage."

  • Perfect place to get away from it all

"There were 18 of us that spent the weekend at Edgett's, and although we planned on going skiing, we ended up staying in the Lodge the whole weekend (with some hiking mixed in there). The place is huge, and everyone had their own bed or couch. Every detail is considered, from the antler chandeliers to the rustic themed toilet paper holders. Couldn't ask for a better place to just relax and enjoy time with friends and family. We all agreed that we'd love to come back again next year!"
