"I certainly enjoyed my stay at your apartment in Leland. The 1906 house is up to date but full of vintage details and furniture. I especially appreciated the framed information in each room. I always know what I expect in lodging but, especially in a private home, I like to know what is expected of me. Every question I might have had was answered before I could ask.
The location is perfect if you enjoy exploring the town and walking to the beaches to search for Petoskey Stones and Leland Blues. And, of course, it's close to the Bluebird, my most favorite restaurant, where Bob, Cory, Forest & Zack make me feel like a local.
My only hope is that a 5 star review doesn't attract so many other potential renters that I will have trouble booking a stay next year.
Thank you Carolyn for all of your help. You've been a pleasure to work with."

"Our family met from all over the U.S. for a reunion here and had just a terrific time. Perfectly set up, clean, great access to the lake, made this an easy and comfortable stay. Short drive to Petoskey and Harbor Springs when you wanted to go into a town. The lake is beautiful and all ages had fun swimming, sunning or taking our boat out. Just down the road was Ryde Marina where you can rent boats, kayaks and canoes. Highly recommend this cottage! The 5 bedrooms make it a great place for a group."

"This place was amazing! It was very secluded (you need to go on dirt roads to find it), but it was well worth it. While we stayed, the weather was cold and rainy, but that didn't stop us from really enjoying the place. We had our family there for our rehearsal dinner the night before. We set up cornhole (or bags) and had a mini tournament with that. We had a bonfire and cooked s'mores that night before the rain came. The day of our wedding, all the girls got ready at the house. It was so spacious and easy to accommodate all the women in the wedding. It was really great to have everyone in one place. The house was so cozy and the people who own the home were so easy to talk to. We had never really been up in the area before, and she helped us by giving advice on what to do, what other hotels were in the area (for our other guests), etc. It was just a lovely experience. We are definitely going to try to make this a yearly trip and we hope to be able to stay at this house year after year."
