"We had a great time staying in Newport! We visited several attractions within minutes of the cottage. The weather was absolutely picture perfect and the entire family enjoyed the stay. We combed the beach for all sorts of rocks and special finds. I would recommend the water shoes as well for the beach/rocks/shells. The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy our time up north. We made smores/Hot dogs over the camp fire on the property. Thanks again for a memorable stay! The owner is top notch with communications!"

"We enjoyed our week in Suttons Bay for our 9 people of 3 generations! The house is nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. The downstairs bedrooms great for parents and their kids. Pleasant sitting areas and nice kitchen and dining. We enjoyed grilling out several nights and had a great campfire. So fun to have kayaks available and water close by. Loved the town of Suttons Bay, their parks great for our kids and fun eateries. All surrounding area is lovely. The owners are very attentive. A wonderful time had by all!!"

"We spent another great week at the lake and our second stay at Cheryl's house. The house is great for families large and small. The beach is beautiful and the water is shallow for a long way out. Traverse City, Suttons Bay, Leland and the Sleeping Bear sand dunes are all within fairly close proximity as well as numerous wineries and craft breweries. Cheryl is great to work with and is very attentive. We can't wait to book our next vacation with her."

"This was our second family visit to this beautiful home in a wonderful setting. We enjoyed bonfires, watching deer and chipmunks as well as day tripping to nearby Charlevoix and Torch Lake. The home is very clean, spacious and perfectly appointed. The amenities and social areas at the Lodge provide numerous options for young and old alike. We are looking forward to taking advantage of the ski-out setting with our children upon our return this winter!"
