"My family had a wonderful time staying at this cottage on Stone Ledge Lake. The water was beautiful, the wildlife was great, we did not catch many "large" fish, but still had a blast trying! Kids really enjoyed playing in the sand. Beds were very comfy. The stairs to the upstairs are a bit daunting, but the kids handled them okay. We were not able to get the wireless or the tv to work, but didn't ask about fixing them either... we had enough to do outside!"

"This is the second time in five years that my family and I have stayed at this beautiful home in the peaceful environs of Lake Charlevoix, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future. The home is exactly as pictured and offers a comfortable and spacious location for family get-togethers and summer fun and relaxation. The owners are very diligent about maintenance and are a pleasure to work with. There is plenty to do in the area, from utlilizing the property's three kayaks at the nearby beach to taking the short jaunt into nearby Charlevoix, Boyne City, and Petoskey for sightseeing and other fun. Lake Charlevoix is a beauty! Try renting a pontoon boat for an afternoon of special delights! You can dine in at the well-equipped home or try one of the many nice restaurants in any of these cities. There is golf, jet skiing, shopping, sunset watching, and more to keep everyone entertained. There are public beaches at both Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix that young and old will enjoy. And after a day of busy exercise, the big couch is a comfy spot for the whole family to relax on while watching a movie together. For a lovely up-north trip, this home is a great option!"

"If your idea of paradise includes all of the comforts of home (Wi-Fi, music, t.v.) combined with comfortable Adirondack style chairs on a deck overlooking a lake view so pretty you won't need those "comforts" after all...then this is your kind of place too! We spent the week in Lake Leelanau celebrating a family reunion of sorts, so my only regret is that we didn't have more time to just relax at the cottage. It was lovelier than the photos and more spacious than expected. We appreciated all the (modern/updated) amenities and it is thoughtfully appointed with everything you will need (and probably forgot to pack). We used the kayaks and paddled along the shoreline. I loved the outdoor shower post workouts, it was very refreshing. The location is ideal, very convenient to the town of Lake Leelanau (3 miles), Traverse City and Sutton's Bay. We can't wait to go back!"

Most immaculate property we have ever rented! Honestly advertised. This is a wonderful home!
"Our family has rented many vacation properties, some came as advertised, others were rather unpleasant surprises. Uncle Warren's is by far the cleanest, most guest friendly home we have ever rented. The owners have thought of everything from the wall mounted blow dryer in the bathroom to the carefully labeled drawers and light switches, they have bent over backwards to make sure that each guest feels completely at home and doesn't waste precious vacation time looking for things. They also have an endless water heater so you won't run out of water no matter how many showers and Jacuzzi's the family takes. We have stayed here twice, the first time was great, but this time we could tell that improvements had been made. A new couch and chair and flat screen tv made the living room even nicer than before. The washer and dryer are an added bonus. They also provide plenty of magazines with information about all the things to do in the area and a generous welcome gift of locally made candy, soda, coffee and wine. This house is 1/2 a block from Cherry Republic and just a block farther to Art's Tavern and the center of town. We walked everywhere and only used the car to go to the Pierce Stocking Drive and Leland. If you want to be in the heart of Glen Arbor, this truly is a wonderful place to enjoy as the home base for an unforgettable family vacation. The best part was that we didn't have to leave our pup at home. He loved Uncle Warren's and Glen Arbor as much as we did."
