  • Awesome Summer Retreat!

"We have rented lake houses for many years in different states and this was by far one of our favorites. Beautiful home inside and well maintained. Very clean. We had everything we needed, except for a third bedroom fan. Kitchen very well stocked (I do a lot of cooking and baking even on vacation). The kayaks and canoe were a plus since we didn't take a boat. Huge yard for outdoor games. Lots of outdoor seating. Fire pit was nice. Lots to do in that area within 20-30 minutes. Wineries, little shops... Personally we were content hanging out at the lake. We had 3 of our kids all in their 20's who enjoyed themselves as well. We would definitely recommend to others and plan to go back. Diana was available to answer questions and make recommendations prior to our trip. Pizza from Dick's Pour House was awesome! The kids complained about not being able to jump off the pier because it was too shallow, but the water was nice. I had a difficult time relaxing for the first few days because I attracted way too many spiders that kept crawling on me. Very isolated, woodsy area, and right on the water. We had an awesome vacation!"

  • Great Vacation Home

"This place was wonderful. The setting on Lake Leelanau is beautiful. Even with the wooded lake setting, it was roomy and light and airy. I do not think the photos do it justice. We especially liked the two large decks. When it was hot we were down on the deck sitting right on the lake with its cool breezes. When it was cooler or windy, the deck up near the house was perfect. On a rainy day, the room with the pool table came in handy. The sunsets over the lake with friends and a glass of Leelanau wine was heaven."

  • A vaction spot with everything

"My family including young adults and twin 2 year old grand kids spent a glorious week at this home. It has every toy conceivable -- volley ball court doubling as sand box, fire pit , hot tub, kyacks, basketball court, dock with pontoon boat that we rented from owner, shallow swimming area with Volley Ball court doubling as a beach.. The house itself was very well furnished and the kitchen was fully equipped for gourmet cooking. We outdoor kitchen was out of a Bobby Flay's " Boy Meets Grill". Need I say more a terrific vacation spot."

  • Perfectly Perfect

"What a perfectly lovely carriage house in an amazing setting for a couples getaway. It was so well-appointed that we wanted for nothing. Having a garage to park our bike in was a huge bonus too! The carriage house is also located in the perfect spot for exploring and adventures in nearby towns or just to sit by the lake & take in the beauty of that itself. We would encourage others to make a point of visiting North Point, Suttons Bay, & Sleeping Bear Dunes . . . . all very beautiful & fun places to visit. Thanks to owners Larry & Jessie who are so welcoming & hospitable and just made our visit perfectly perfect. Now that we've discovered this little haven, we're hoping to make it a yearly destination."
