  • Great Time Once Again In Leland

"My family and I have been coming to the peninsula for 32 years. We normally stayed at the same spot until a few years ago when we started trying homes through VRBO. We enjoy this experience very much. This house served 5 adults and 3 children well. We loved eating outdoors at their picnic table and the grandkids enjoyed the outdoor shower after bathing in Lake Michigan. We are the type of traveler who enjoys breakfast at home, lunch and hot spots during the day and cooking at home and eating outside each evening. We would return to this setting again. Walking distance to town, and the beaches and a nice quiet neighborhood setting."

  • Every possible detail was attended to!

"8 of us stayed here for the long Labor Day weekend and it was really fantastic! Great grounds surrounded the house, including the beautiful walk to the water, fire pit, hot tub. The house was immaculate, fully equipped and every possible detail was thought of! The kitchen was stocked, beds were very comfy, decorating was excellent. The front porch was perfect for relaxing and the outside table fit us all perfectly. If I had to say something negative it would be the proximity to the busy street - a little hard to get used to. The upstairs bedrooms were hot and really did not cool off at night - But all in all, it was fantastic and the water toys were so fun! Kayaking, boating, fishing, paddling. Really great place! Very impressed. Egan was so accomodating and always available."

  • Perfect vacation!

"This was the perfect place for a great family vacation! We had two adults and four college aged children/guests. The home is more inviting and stunning than even the listed pictures which is truly saying something! The lake frontage is beyond breathtaking whether it was morning coffee on the deck off the master bedroom, or wine on the dock for sunsets, or late nights by the fire pit as you are never too old for roasted marshmallows. The home is fully stocked and equipped for all your needs whether it is indoor cooking, outdoor grilling, wifi or simply sharing a late night movie. The home is in a great location, plenty of privacy yet just 10 minute drive from both Suttons Bay and downtown Leland for dinner or shopping options. A little further but still easy trips were 30 minutes to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. All of which are great options to take advantage of should you have gotten a little too much sun or as a rainy day option. The water frontage was very sandy all around the dock area. If you were entering the water directly from the yard it is a little rocky and some may prefer water shoes. This was our first experience with VRBO and I have to say we hit the jackpot! The owners were very welcoming, informative, and professional to deal with and the property was everything we had hoped for and more. It was a fabulous week for our family and we would definitely return! Thanks so much for sharing your home."

  • A vaction spot with everything

"My family including young adults and twin 2 year old grand kids spent a glorious week at this home. It has every toy conceivable -- volley ball court doubling as sand box, fire pit , hot tub, kyacks, basketball court, dock with pontoon boat that we rented from owner, shallow swimming area with Volley Ball court doubling as a beach.. The house itself was very well furnished and the kitchen was fully equipped for gourmet cooking. We outdoor kitchen was out of a Bobby Flay's " Boy Meets Grill". Need I say more a terrific vacation spot."
