  • Quiet and accomodating

"My husband and I rented Cozy Bay Cottage in October 2011 and it was just a little dream of a place. Very comfortable inside, and the back deck was great to sit out in the mornings and eat dinner at night. The outdoor shower was very liberating I must say, had a spa-like feel to it. Sunsets were hard to beat."

  • Absolutely charming! Such a relaxing vacation :)

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights for a little getaway. It was absolutely charming! The guest house was just the perfect size for the two of us.The location is perfect-- it's about 25 minutes away from Traverse City and about 10 minutes away from Sutton's Bay (which is wonderful!). The Sleeping Bear Dunes (which I would also highly recommend seeing) are only 25 minutes away as well. It's close enough to many attractions and restaurants, but far enough away to be extremely quiet and relaxing. The pool and outdoor area here is perfect to relax by and enjoy a glass of wine (which Vince and Kristy provided upon arrival :)). Vince and Kristy are extremely friendly and generous hosts! And we loved having Rufus around since our pups were back home. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a relaxing getaway and enjoy the beautiful up north. We will most definitely be returning :)"

  • Wonderful Vacation

"Our family had a wonderful time. The water was beautiful. We swam and had a great time. The lawn next to the house was awesome for playing outdoor games. The short drive to Traverse City was definitely a bonus. The house has an open floor plan and there were nice breezes coming in off of the lake that made it very comfortable. We loved it."

  • Wonderful family vacation destination!

"This is a great family vacation destination. We had 2 families (with 4 children <5 years old), and were completely comfortable here. There was even a highchair available for use. We were able to dock our 20' boat there, and the best part is that the house is in the "slow no wake" zone:) The children loved the beach, which is supplied nicely with sand & beach toys, so no need to bring your own. The house is well stocked throughout with just about anything that you could need. The renter lives right next door, and is willing with help out at anytime, with anything! I would highly recommend this cottage (we've stayed two years in a row) and it is well worth it."
