"A group of friends decided to rent this home for an annual guys weekend up north. This home was perfect! We loved the lake, the outdoor kitchen, the patio, and the abundance of sleeping space. The location is great, we planned on a lot of road biking and never rode on a road that wasn't in pristine condition. It was hard to leave this home though! Thanks to the owners for letting us stay and for being very responsive!"

"Millers Landing worked well for celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with all of our children and grandchildren (13 of us). A few minor inconveniences were the sloping fire pit made it hard to sit around the campfire. The other was the abundance of stuff (albeit lovely) made for very cluttered spaces when several people bring in their own groceries, suitcases, etc. We could have used a hand mixer, crock pot and cookie sheets and larger cookware for a group of people and less cookware that didn't really seem to have a purpose. We appreciated the spices, many towels and the spacious floor plan. Needless to say the grounds were lovely as well as the decks. The provision of water shoes and lifejackets was wonderful as well as the kayaks. The trundle bed casters were on backwards (per my husband), thus was very hard to pull out and push in. The air conditioner did not work, although on arrival we were told someone was going to come out and repair it during the week, which did not happen. For the most part, we only needed it maybe 2 1/2 days or so. We were given access to a garage for an extra gas tank for the gas grill, which we did hook up and use. Would recommend this for family without small children because of the rather steep hill leading down to the lake. The July 4th fireworks all around the lake were truly enjoyed so much we sat up chairs on the dock to watch."

"Stayed at the Wheeler cottage for a week in August and had the best time! My fiance (now husband) and I wanted to choose a spot where we could not only have a beautiful wedding but also spend some time with our families. We stayed for the week with both sides of our family, about 15 in all, and everyone had a fantastic time. The cottage was plenty big that there was enough privacy for everyone and no one felt like we were on top of each other. The inside of the house is amazing, with beautiful woodwork and art everywhere; each room was unique. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook every meal there for the whole group; we had some wonderful dinners gathered around the table on the sun porch, watching the sunset. The property was also spectacular and we all enjoyed lounging in the chairs and drinking wine, playing games in the yard, and riding around the lake and into Leland on the pontoon we rented.
We had our wedding on Friday and it was like a fairytale. The weather was perfect and the setting was so romantic and perfect; many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been too. Rink was also extremely accommodating and helped us with anything we needed when it came to the wedding or any arrangements; he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Overall the week and the wedding were absolutely perfect and I couldn't have imagined anything better!!"

"We walked in and we're all surprised at how awesome the home was inside! Pictures do not do it justice...felt at home instantly and all had a blast! Great waterfront with kayaks, campfire pit, space for yard games, an awesome porch and pool table inside! Lots of seating inside and fully equipped with everything we needed except our clothes and food! We would return to this property in a flash!"
