  • Great Time Once Again In Leland

"My family and I have been coming to the peninsula for 32 years. We normally stayed at the same spot until a few years ago when we started trying homes through VRBO. We enjoy this experience very much. This house served 5 adults and 3 children well. We loved eating outdoors at their picnic table and the grandkids enjoyed the outdoor shower after bathing in Lake Michigan. We are the type of traveler who enjoys breakfast at home, lunch and hot spots during the day and cooking at home and eating outside each evening. We would return to this setting again. Walking distance to town, and the beaches and a nice quiet neighborhood setting."

"This is our second year renting this house for our week long wine tour! House more than fits our needs, but what really stands out is Annie's attention to detail and quality of customer service. Any small problem or question you need is handled with a degree of professionalism not found easily these days!! We are looking forward to next years trip already!!! See you next year Annie!! Thanks Rock"

  • Awesome Summer Retreat!

"We have rented lake houses for many years in different states and this was by far one of our favorites. Beautiful home inside and well maintained. Very clean. We had everything we needed, except for a third bedroom fan. Kitchen very well stocked (I do a lot of cooking and baking even on vacation). The kayaks and canoe were a plus since we didn't take a boat. Huge yard for outdoor games. Lots of outdoor seating. Fire pit was nice. Lots to do in that area within 20-30 minutes. Wineries, little shops... Personally we were content hanging out at the lake. We had 3 of our kids all in their 20's who enjoyed themselves as well. We would definitely recommend to others and plan to go back. Diana was available to answer questions and make recommendations prior to our trip. Pizza from Dick's Pour House was awesome! The kids complained about not being able to jump off the pier because it was too shallow, but the water was nice. I had a difficult time relaxing for the first few days because I attracted way too many spiders that kept crawling on me. Very isolated, woodsy area, and right on the water. We had an awesome vacation!"

  • very nice home, private setting

"This was the second time that my fiancee and I have rented a property in this area through VRBO, and this house exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The house was clean, well-maintained, and tucked away on several wooded acres so it is nice and private. The location can't be beat - we were just a short drive from Leland, Suttons Bay, and Northport. Plus, the views of Lake Michigan were beautiful. We enjoyed our walks along the beach in the mornings, very quiet and peaceful. We will be recommending this property to friends and family, and look forward to returning on future visits to Northern Michigan."
